Ok so I am pretty sure all of us have been noticing this lately but it really is true that the show is NOTHING like what it was in the first couple of months...I hadn't seen this show until mid-February when I just happened to watch the episode where Ajay-Lakshmi are out shopping for their engagement ring and Arjun signs a blank cheque...show seemed interesting, watched a couple of episodes after and then caught up with all the episodes that I missed...and this is all I have to say:
I wish that if CVs wanted to drag a track on the show, the Ajay-Lakshmi track had wayyy more appeal than any of the ideas they are coming up with now (or the problem could be the lack of ideas)
This is one of the first shows that has actually lost its charm after the lead pair gets married ๐ And part of it has to go with the fact that there really is no plot...where the hell is the story headed? And why are they so hellbent on the polygamy track?
Whats even worse is ruining the characters themselves...Lakshmi, although had a dream of marrying Arjun, never came across as a gold-digger but now thats all I see...ever since they got married, all I see is her fascination with the white bungalow and the credit card etc. etc.
As for Arjun, he never came across as the kind of guy who would have had any past relationships, yet we are expected to believe that him and Soumya had a serious relationship in the past. If he actually marries her now, then his love for Lakshmi is seriously doubtful - another thing about the show I loved that has been ruined
All in all, a show I actually started watching late has turned out to be a huge disappointment ever since I started following it regularly...may need to quit soon...it is not the same light-hearted romance with a meaningful plot that it promised to deliver in its earlier days.
