Is Sanjana a mirror reflection of Nazneen

For a character to shine it's important that the person portraying it bears resemblance to it. Seldom does one find such artists. In our fictional world of tellywood, it's next to nil.
However, for once we find an actor that's almost a mirror reflection of her character.

The producers of Main Aisi Kyun Hoon couldn't have found a better protagonist than Nazneen Patel.

Main Aisi.. is a tale of Sanjana Pushpa Patil who's left heart broken after her man marries another lady but she's still hopeful of being together with him again. At the same time, she's aware that age is not on her side, so her family wants her to find her a suitable groom quickly. Though, Nazneen too has gone through, not one but two tumultuous relationships, she's found her true love at the third attempt.

Says Nazneen, "I can relate very well with my character Sanjana because I know what goes through a person when he/she is left heart broken. In real life too, I have gone through two break ups. After my initial break-off, I was completely shattered. In fact, it took me three years to recover from this trauma. I went through this hellacious period again but this time, things came back to normal in about 12 months"

She adds further, "post my second affair, I was determined to not let this affect my life anymore. I just said to myself that I have to get going in life."

After experiencing two break-ups, what expectation does a lady have from a man? Nazneen replies, "Fortunately, the man that I 'm seeing right now is the best person I could have asked for. After my previous relationships, all I want from a man is that at the end of the day he should come to me. I'm not interested with what he does outside. He should also be liked by my family."

In the show Sanjana's nearing 30, thus her family is pressurising her to get married. Is it the same for Nazneen? The Mumbai girl replies, "I wanted to get married when I was 24. But then I went through those traumatic periods. Now that I've found my Mr.Right, my parents feel I should tie the knot soon."

When it comes to relationships, Nazneen does resemble Sanjana but there are also some differences. Sanjana is nearing her 30s, so she screams when she finds a grey hair. Talk of the same to Nazneen and she hits back "I don't have a single grey hair. The day that I find one, I'll end my life. After all, I fear getting old"

With that being the case, it's unlikely that Nazneen will remain a part of the show if it opts for a generational leap. Her admirers too wouldn't like it as they'd love to see her the way she is now - simply gorgeous!
