Going by Indian TV's track record, it will devolve into a catfight between Ganga and Parvati.πŸ˜† And I believe I saw a pic of the Ganga actress in costume. A tight-fitting outfit that practically creamed "vamp." Will wait and see.

IIRC, SHiva Puran says Karthikeya was given to Ganga. Also, there are enough stories around about Parvati's jealousy of Ganga.

That would be a disgrace if they show a Goddess being jealous of her sister who is also a Goddess and showing them fighting with each other for some silly reasons .
Mata Ganga was more devoted to Shivji as a bhakt and nothing else. He carries her his matted hairlock for a purpose just like how he has Chandra dev on his head and Vasuki around his neck.
And Mata Ganga was married to King Shantanu from Mahabharat and has children too .
But cvs might show anything and add more drama to get trps .

I actually said "Indian TV's track record. I watched the producer's Mahabharata couple of years back, and they managed Panchali and Subhadra beautifully.

So I have every hope they will manage this well.

These jealousy; insecurity aren't these human emotions; I think God/Goddess is above all these feelings and even if there are stories as such; it's hard to believe coz Shiv had immense love for Parvati and loved her unconditionally so Parvati being jealous doesn't go down well; it's more like a devotion and one-sided love towards Mahadev

There are actually numerous stories of jealousy/pride among and within the gods. Parvati and Manasa, for example; Vishnu and Brahma arguing who the supreme deity truly was: Lakshmi and Saraswati fighting over Vishnu; the Tridevi attempting to tarnish Anasuya's purity; and, of course, Parvati and Ganga.
Jealousy and hubris are humanizing; many polytheistic/pantheistic and pre-Abrahamic religions imbue deities with such emotions. It works effectively to strengthen the understanding of the deities by humans. An abstract myth about ancestral principles or the vastness of nature might not reach every mind. If the universe is anthropomorphized, however, it suddenly becomes relatable and familiar.
