Welcome to Batukeshwar Reflections, a thread dedicated to creating imaginary extensions of the story line. Feel free to contribute since it's open floors. It doesn't have to be attached to the previous story line!

INTRODUCTION

Namaskar Poojnio Poojians, my name is Poojnia Parmeshwar, Srimath Batukeshwar Maharaj. You might remember me from Mahabharat a few years ago, I played myself - Batukeshwar Maharaj, the one and only. If you don't, I'll fix you up later on - such is the charm.

You may be wondering what I'm doing here. Well the truth is ... ever since I saw Draupadi, I was floored. Meri toh vaat lagayi, but unfortunately she was already married to my disciples - the Pandavas (I was the reason why Arjun won the Swayamvar by the way)- and well I was already done with that part of my life ... so no luck. By Mahadev's kripa, Draupadi seems to have reappeared as not just Devi Parvati, not just Devi Mahakaali, not just Devi Sati, and many more! Surely, I - the original Poojarie - will get a chance with at least --

You don't care about that? That's quite rude. Fine. What do you care about? Stories about Mahakaali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai is it? Well I'm not sure why you want to hear that over my glorifications but have it your way.

To start, we must analyze what "Anth Hi Aarambh Hai" means. Clearly, it signifies that the end is the beginning. But it also means that the beginning is the end because of the associative theorem. In other words --

What do you mean that makes no logical sense? Who's telling the story, you or me!! That's what I thought. Since you have no interest for being enriched in such knowledge, I will simply skip to the beginning, which is the end, which is the beginning, which is the end.

Jai Mahismati!

Letter to every newspaper in the world

August 2017

Dear humanity

Of all the millennia of my existence, I never imagined the summer of 2017 would be my most trying. Not only do I have to deal with the normal-level idiocy of your kind, all of whom seem determined to destroy each other without waiting for me to do the honors, I also have to deal with a TV show made on moi.

The first time I watched it with Mahadev, I had to worry about the teesri aankh. I mean, why would they make him act like Amrish Puri in DDLJ saying "Jaa, Simran, jaa. Apni zindagi jee lein." Arrey, pati hein mere. He has my back, fights at my side, not watch on CC TV with my bro Narayan.

Speaking about Narayan, I have to correct the makers on the impression they seem to be harboring. He's generally regarded as a handsome fella. I know I'm the sister, so I'm somewhat prejudiced, but reactions from other women tell me he's above average.

More on all this later. I've recently discovered this food called pizza. Mahadev and I are off to Sicily in a few minutes to spend vacation there. In case of emergency, you can reach us via Nandi.

Ciao,

Mahakali

This (as you'll find out in the author's note at the end that I'm too lazy to delete) more so based on the tag line of the show and Mahadev's favorite line.

Anth Hi Aarambh Hai - The Origin

Bhatukeshwar Maharaja: Hear from me now, the secret of the creation.

Eons ago, when the universe and creation was enshrouded in complete darkness, a small spark of energy floated throughout the cosmos. The glories of the spark are many, but I expect you the following three things: It's a spark, it's energy, and it's floating.

Now this floating spark of energy, sprinkled and sparkled with energy as it floated around the universe searching for another spark. When none were found, the spark decided to expand itself into another spark. The process of that itself is very difficult for anyone to comprehend, but there is a secret ritual that is known to only a few. Fortunately, I am one of those few, but I cannot tell you under the laws of param existence.

In the end, from the spark there burst out a column of indescribable breadth, width, length, diameter, and other terms of measurement. From this supreme pillar, a sound radiated out, echoing throughout the empty universe.

D: But Guruji, how can echoes exist in nothingness?

BM: That is a wise question young one, I am very pleased with your response. Hear from me know, the secrets of this echo.

As you know, echoes are sound waves that bounce off of objects, and in the case of the universal creation, there was nothing for the sound waves to bounce off. At least, that is what unintelligible fools would believe.

A sound wave oscillates in a sine-pattern for the most part, but there are a few select words that oscillate per cosine. These select words are what enabled the sound waves to reach across the universe echoing. However, they came at an unfortunate cost.

As you may be very well aware of - the secret words of the universe are "Anth Hi Aarambh Hai", which means that the end is the beginning. However, as the sounds echoed throughout the empty cosmos, the syllables changed and formed a new meaning:

Hai Rambhaa Hi Anth

Notice the pattern? It's backwards. Anth Hi Aarambh Hai --- Hai Rambhaa Hi Anth.

Thus, the universe was created through Rambhaa, who, as we know is a divine apsara in the courtroom of Dev Indra. But it took a while for the truth to come out, and that's why Rambhaa was pretty much replaced by Urvashi and why no one is named Rambhaa.

Alright, where was I? Right, the pillar of light. So the vibrations of Anth Hi Aarambh Haisurrounded the universe and at each point of intersection of the two sound waves, a light glowed. When the light dots were connected, the meditating form of Mahadev was formed, together with the snake Vasuki, his trident, and his third eye. And that gave shape to the actual pure white form of Shankar himself!

Other connected lights formed the other Tri Devs -- together with their shapes and forms (4 heads for Brahma, 4 arms for Vishnu, etc.).

Anyway, that's how the TriDevs appeared. Anth Hi Aarambh Hai is a very powerful mantra of creation, but at the same time it allows an individual to comprehend the microscopic details of the universe.

D: But Guruji, did something exist before that? If the end is the beginning, why is the beginning not the actual beginning?

BM: Very intelligent question. See, when there was darkness in the world, it didn't mean that the world had ended and was starting again.

D: Then why "Anth Hi Aarambh Hai?"

BM: Maybe --

D: What if the sound waves vibrated "Hai Rambhaa Hi Anth", warning us that Rambhaa and anyone who shared that name regardless of gender, was a threat to our peaceful existence.

BM: Well ... Can you prove that?

D: Of course I can. The sound is a prediction of what is to come, which implies that there is a need to create to protect and warn.

BM: But if there was a need to warn, why create? Why not just be done?

D: That must mean that Rambhaa is actually stronger than the creation and the creator. The spark of light's origin must have come from Rambhaa.

BM: The Apsara?

D: Yes, no, maybe so?

BM: So then is Rambhaa currently existing?

D: Most definitely yes, but most probably no.

BM: What kind of answer is that?

D: It's an intelligent answer. I don't know, but if I say "I don't know", I appear to be stupid.

BM: So is this something we should fear?

D: Of course it is. Rambhaa must be feared otherwise it will destroy us.

BM: But what is Rambhaa? We need to figure that out first. /

D: I have an answer to that as well.

BM: Then why are you going in circles?

D: Circles are a paradox of it's own. It's impossible to draw a perfect circle, hence the representation that a circle may not exist, while existing.

BM: OKay ...

D: If we look at Rambhaa we have Ram and Bhaa. Ram is not Vishnu avatar, Raghunandana because the pronunciation is different (Raam vs. Ram). So we can assume that Ram is the animal. Bhaa is a tricky one. Bhaa must be the sound it produces. RamBhaa is obvious this ram demon of sorts.

BM: Okay.

D: So we must be on the lookout for any Ram demons that go "bhaa" for surely that is the end of us all.

<< END >>

Author's note: This isn't really connected to the serial except for the signature catchphrase of Mahadev and the tag line of the show. Hope you enjoyed it!
