Finally, the forum's open!
Here's presenting the list of power packed show stealer lines & episodic highlights :
Episode 1 :
1) Naari ke aage hone ke liye Purush ko peeche hatna padta hai / Teer ke aage Jaane ke liye pratyancha ko peeche hatna padta hai.
^^Such an amazing line.
2) Naari toh abla hoti Hai naa...
^^Haha! What satire by Mahadev, teasing the consciousness of Parvati! And the next few minutes falsifies this statement so badly 😆
3) Anta hi Aarambh Hai
^^Not required in the first episode but this was bang on. The basic truth behind everything.
Episode 2 :
1) Janm Hota Hai, Mrityu Hoti Hai
^^what deep feels! The moment that Asur tells Parvati that Stree Ka astitva Purush ke peeche hota hai, she agrees to it and says Nar hota hai, Nari Hoti Hai. Shakti, Mrityu and other powerful things governing the universe have been given a female status cause feminism is the source of everyone's power. Loved it!
2) Kasturi Bel - Patra : Kasturi is a symbol of heat.
She let go of the Bel Patra and only then could become Mahakali cause Bela Patra is symbolic of calmness. And kasturi + Bela Patra itself shows the coexistence of anger with peace. Anger can reside in calmness as the kasturi was hidden in the leaf. It's only until we open up our inner consciousness & unleash the strength of our soul.
The deer shown was the Kasturi Mriga - a deer who's belly bears the Kasturi. I guess it has medicinal properties like haldi (turmeric).
Episode 3 :
1) Jab Pati yaa patni mein se koi ugra ho jaaye toh dusre ko jhuk janaa chahiye
^^Shows how Pati Patni are equals and defies the general notion that it's the woman's responsibility to give in everytime. Shiva not only bowing but allowing Mahakali to step on Him was huge! And graciously done too.
2) Aap sab jaante the Mahadev!
^^Not a great line but the way it was showed, when realisation hit upon her that it was all pre planned. Pooja was stunning here.
3) Shakti ke Bina Shiv Bhi Shav Hai
^^Spot on! Shows how the most powerful Mahakaal too is nothing without his Shakti, his Kali. Again, Parvati is the source of the universe's energy and even Shiva derives his energy from her. She's Prakriti, the calm & Kali, the destruction. If females can give birth, they can also take away lives when the need arises.
Episode 4 :1) M se Mata, M se Maharani, M se Mrityu :
^^LOL, no explanation. 😆
2) Buddhi aur Sundarta ek dusre ke shatru Hai
^^Indeed, true! That's why cause Parvati has to shed her saundarya to become Mahakali! And where there's Sundarta, there's no place for conscience. Hence Shumbh is so attracted to her that he's forgotten (well, partially forgotten) his life's condition.
Note : Here Sundarta is only outer beauty. Cause gyan causes inner realisation and hence a more beautiful soul.
3) Parvati Ka dwand svayam se hai
^^Such a strong message here. Most often, the fight isn't with the world but our self. And that's where we've to control our emotions & be in 'niyantran', like Parvati. I loved how they're showing the journey of a human to realise divinity, with all her flaws and care.
4) Parvati ek Shakti Hai jismein manushya ki Karuna Hai
^^When Vishnu Dev is confused and asks him how a human body can manage such supreme power, Shiva completely changed his perspective. Parvati isn't a human who has to carry the tej of divinity. She's divinity herself who has taken the shape of a human, with a human's love, fear & care.
5) Krodh jab niyantran mein ho dusron ko jala deta hai, aur naa ho toh svayam ko
^^Great line.
6) ... Tumne avahann mein Der kardi
^^Aww, Parvati can never possibly let go of her complaints and everytime how confidently Shivji softly points out her mistake.
Apart from these, the Bel Patra symbolism again (where she gives a part of herself and her humanly attribute - a tear - to Shiva in her absence through a Bel patra, incase he needs something o calm him) and the way she controls her anger to not take the roop of Mahakali were episodic highlights. I am in awe how they've shown a whole journey to control power. Power when in control helps us gain control over others and if not, we lose control over ourselves.
Episode 5/6
1) Pita Ka kartavya hota hai putri ke liye seemaein banana aur putri Ka adhikar Hai use todna!
^^That is Sati for us in the very first shot - firece, unafraid & defiant. She cares about none now and is full of pride. But pure and innocent at heart and straightforward.
2) Main kaun hoon? Jo main Nahi, voh main hoon... Iss main main main se bahar aaogi tab apna astitva samajh paogi
^^So the simple meaning is - Shiva resides everywhere. In the lands, mountains & oceans. He's Prakriti & has no Seema. The only part where he doesn't reside is his body (his soul is not bounded inside his body) hence Jo main Nahi, Woh main hoon.
But Main also means aham or ahankar. He's telling Sati to get out of her main ideology and identify herself as a part of the Prakriti which is boundless.
3) Purushartha mein Bhi Purush apna arth doodhta Hai. Aur tum kehti ho tumhaare pita nihswaartha Purushartha karte Hai?
^^Brilliant line. Especially for me cause I never realised it! Hard-work cannot be called selfless cause it's 'our' work. Hence from now on Parmarth (other's good) is paropkar.
4) Adhikar uska Nahi Jo janam deta Hai, uska Jo astitva deta Hai
^^How true! You're not known by the person who gave you birth but by the being you gave you a realisation and existence.
5) Shiva hi Satya Hai aur Satya hi Sati Hai
^^😳
6) Woh prem hi kya jisko tarka Ka Sahara Lena pade
^^Their love was unconditional and not bound by
