Whenever a black magic or specifically "adharva" practices are shown its pictured as the sacrifices or offerings are made to mahakaali.. the aaradhya of these aadharva practioners is mahakaali.. is it why because in mahakaali roop she have no sense of herself and no sense of right and wrong???

No krishnaa, Goddess Kali has different forms

I am guessing they are trying to go for teaching people that she is Parvati, I have no clue, because otherwise that part made no sense. She is technically supposed to know who she is

They are actually trying to educate ppl abt women's strength, that they are not weak.. & strong enough to face cruelty of men's.. Women empowerment u see
But i really hope that they'll clarify it soon

Otherwise its really wierd to see a meek parvati ๐Ÿฅฑ

Wasn't Parvati aware of her true self before marrying Shiva ?

This series portrays her to be completely unaware of her real identity , in fact that is the very crust of this show's plot - Parvati discovering herself .. As of now , she thinks she is just an ordinary human and extraordinary things happened to a human leading to identity crisis .. ๐Ÿ˜†

I was under the impression that Parvati had to attain 'goddess' status before marrying Shiva .. To be worthy of Shiva , she became Aparna .. so I don't understand how she became totally oblivious to her Adi Parashakthi -self after marriage ..๐Ÿ˜•

But I am not complaining .. An entire series based on the supreme power - Adi Parashakthi , bring it on !!

Slow-mo transformation of fuming Parvati into Mahakaali was kick-ass !! โญ๏ธ

She had to become a Goddess indeed to become Shiva's wife. Not a Goddess, rather a MahaTapasvini to match His MahaTapasvi.

No she doesn't.. When u read shiv purana n narad purana then u get to know that parvati thinks herself as human for very long time.. when Shumbh n Nishumbh got power after that she starts realizing her power that was happened some time after Shiva-parvati marriage.. n when parvati realised her true power fully then Ardhanaarishwar form is appear.. even in DKDM they show some slight things about this journey... none knows the reality for sure but as some purana suggests that Sati n Early phase of parvati don't know about her adi-shakti swaroop.. we always watched Mahadeva based show n in that they didn't highlighted the journey of parvati to adi-shakti.. they always showed she knows it but that's not the full story that's why we don't know about this.. In actual journey is start from the tapasya done by parvati to get Mahadeva as husband n it ends after she realizes her all forms of Navdurga n Das-Mahavidayyein n this journey is long.. during her tapasaya she realised her Maha-tapaswini roop which is known as Brahamcharini n the process continue slowly after that

As far as I know, there are conflicted opinions and records on this. Either way, I am assuming that the show is showing that women have the power and they need to realise and summon it. I don't particularly like the meekness that they show in Parvati so far, but I hope it will pick up.

As far as the episodes go, I think by far the best was yesterday's. Last week was okay, but nothing great.

Nava Durgas are- Shailpurti, Brhmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skanda mata, Kaatyaayani,
Kaalratri, MahaGauri, Sidhhidatri.
Dash Mahavidyas are- MahaKaali, Tara, Tripur sundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Baglamukhi, Chnnamasta, Tripur Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Matangi, Kamala.

I do remember reading in Color's pg about all these forms will be covered. Lets hope they do justice to Maa's various forms.

The Real MahaKaali, always has control over her action. She has tremendous power, which others want to control for their benifit. She destroys negative force. When she doing her task, why should anyone come in her path? She is beyond Kaal as she is the power which takes charge, when all other means fail. One has to just surrender to her & step aside. Let her finish her task.
She destroys negativity. Sacrifice of innocent animals doesnt serve the purpose. One has to sacrifice inner -ve qualities to please her.

Well they better cover ALL of it + there are many isolated individual avatars of Parvati - Sheetaladevi , Bhramari , Meenakshi , Annapurna & many more and each one of them I believe has an interesting story , hope they cover all of it .. I mean this is the best platform so far to explore Adi Parashakthi in detail , the makers ought to make the best out of it .. DKDM explored almost all of the avatars of Shiva in detail , no reason why this series shouldn't do the same for Parvati ..

Another question - we know the Navdurga & the Dasham Mahavidya but what about 'the Matrika' - aren't they also forms of Adishakthi ? .. I believe goddesses like Narsimhi , Chamundeshwari , Indrani ( feminine forms of all male deities ) form the Matrikas .. I think they are warrior goddesses summoned by Durga .. But how many Matrikas are there - 6 ? 7 ? 10 ? 11 ? ๐Ÿ˜• .. Some even say Matrikas shouldn't be worshipped as they are considered errr inauspicious ๐Ÿ˜•, not sure how much truth is there to that ..๐Ÿค” .. I know Dasham Mahavidyas aren't meant to be worshipped by ordinary folks ( especially goddesses like Dhumavati ) , only tantra sadhana experts can dare to carry out poojas for Mahavidyas ..but Matrikas are still a mystery to me ..

Sapta Matrikas- Brahmi, Vaishnavi, Maheshwari, Aindri, Kumari, Varahi, Narasimhi are shaktis of Brhma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Indra, Kartikeya, Varaha, Narasimha.
At some place even Chamunda is added in the group of Ashta Matrikas.
They came to fight with Maa Durga in the battle of Chanda, Munda, Raktabeeja, Shumbh, Nishumbh.
Here they showed Devis fighting with Mahakaali are these Matrikas.
They are worshipped.
