Imagine if anyone wrote book on dussashan ?

I feel it will only give tips how to carry out orders without questioning , Varna or kuch dussashan ne nhi kiya rather than being a side kick 2 duryodhana.

I don't said raavan was better person is was worst no doubt in that but did read about raavan he did a lot 4 his own people, regarding duryodhana I never heard praises 4 him .

Maybe I misunderstood sorry

I still say he wasn't selfish, his friendship to Karna as I reasoned above was completely unconditional.

Susharma wasn't a low caste man either, he was a Kshatriya, the prince (and later king) of Trigartha, modern day Punjab and Haryana. (As per Wikipedia he was Bhanumati's first cousin, not sure about it though) Duryodhan n him were bffs since childhood as he was a student in DronAshram as well.

And I said that Susharma was ready to give up his entire accumulated Dharma, to be labeled as a coward just to see Duryodhan as a victor. Ashwathama cried a lot at his death, like he has lost someone most dear to him although it was Arjun(his enemy who had made Ashwathama the king)

Now definitely Ashwathama and Susharma weren't naive kids whom Duryodhan could have manipulated them, if they cared for him so deeply, the relation definitely has to be two sided. So I said that he must have been a great friend to them as well

About Duryodhan as a king, Hastinapur definitely reached to its previous glory during his reign, now whether it was because of his rule or was it because Karna got immense wealth for him from across the country and the existing Samrat was dead by then, that could be a debatable topic. The public loved him as Vyasa clearly states, so he definitely did do much for his people

Sidekick to both Dusshashan and Karna

But I seriously feel that a book on Dusshashan is about to come pretty soon

In fact in BRC forum we were discussing about it. Let me search for it once

I sometimes feel leaving duryodhana & dussashan maybe all kaurav brothers were not exactly bad , vikarn proved it even bheem was sad after killing him .

But as nothing much is said about them so we imagine them all evil coz they supported duryodhana always.

What if it was duryodhana who loose in dice game even himself like what happened with Pandavas ?

I read somewhere Yudi accepted this dice game in order 2 win Hastinapur ( I can be wrong)

We all know what happened ? I just want 2 discuss what if opposite happened in dice game , thou I know Yudi was 2 adharshvadi .

Yes Yudhishtir does say later that he felt that he could win over Hastinapur in this way, although it was stupid thought, but he definitely knew that it wasn't a harmless game..

Coming to Duryodhan, firstly he couldn't have lost everyone, since his father was alive and at least on papers Hastinapur belonged to him(although I am not sure since Duryodhan is often referred to as Kuru King, so maybe the Yuvaraj there was the king since Dhritrashtra had become the king without any proceedings), but he couldn't have lost his brothers since he didn't have the rights on his brothers till Dhritrashtra was alive. At max he could have lost Bhanumati, himself, Lakshman+Lakshmana (I don't think even them because Yudhishtir hadn't staked Prativindhya and had stated that he has nothing left to stake) and the Kashi queen,(if she was alive then) then his brothers and Karna+Bheeshm, Drona Kripa trio could have fought against Pandavas to free them from slavery. Fir war jaldi ho jaata

But I don't think he would have actually staked them. No reason for it, just I don't feel it would have happened

if you leave what Duryodhan+Dusshashan did to Pandavas and their allies, actually even they didn't do anything bad

Duryodhan never disrespected any of the elders. While he decided to commit suicide by forgoing food and water (after Gandharva Gowsha Yatra humiliation), he actually asks Dusshashan to take over the position of the king, to remember being always respectful to elders so that they might love him, to make sure that his brothers always get all happiness so that they never feel shy to ever approach him, to always keep state ahead of himself, to not let lethargy come in way for the timely pensions to the priests etc. It was his stupid hatred for Pandavas that made him irredeemable.

However Vikarna thing I really don't understand, since childhood, Yuyutsu knew all about their plans and passed them over to Pandavas, so how come Vikarna never got to know it? It seems very difficult for me believe that they confided Yuyutsu but not Vikarna. Yet Vikarna never revealed the plan to Pandavas, so he was willing in Pandavas death as well

Sometimes I feel could it be that Vikarna supporting Draupadi's claim was their reverse psychology tactics so that Kuru elders say that no Draupadi is actually a slave? Because DuryDushy didn't say him a word on supporting Draupadi's claim despite they being his elder brother, it was only Karna who scolded him and asked him to sit down

I actually never heard about it.

While Dusshashan was dragging Draupadi inside, Draupadi resisted herself and said that she wants to ask one last question, she again claimed her independence. Duryodhan probably thinking that no Pandav would go against Yudhishtir repeated that he will let her go free if any of her husbands feel that Yudhishtir didn't have the right to stake her. (He had said the same thing earlier too, and then Bheem had admitted Yudhishtir's right to stake her) Arjun then said, that Yudhishtir had the right to stake them for sure, but after her was himself lost, could a slave actually have any right on anything is something Kuru elders need to decide.

Just then jackals start shouting (I don't think this was something what would have had literally happened, it could have been some poetic narration) and Vidur and Gandhari just understand that things are going very bad and declare that Draupadi would be freed. Then Dhritrashtra asks her to take the boons

Any news channel should upload the video. They talked about MB stories and MB days. It was interesting.
