Yudhishtira deserved it.

She was also careful enough to support Yudhishtira vociferously (dice hall) whenever there was possibility of real harm coming from her criticism.

In other words, she was a politician.

My point re: Draupadi-Satyabhama samvaadha was that Panchali clearly didn't follow the words she spouted at Satyabhama. So it was either interpolation or sarcasm. I think sarcasm because there were plenty other instances of mockery and sarcasm from her.

Can u elaborate d scene Arjun's plumbing one , I m not able 2 get which scene u r talking.

As per Dwapar Yuga norms, Bhishma and Yudhishthira are purushottam. As per Dwapar Yuga norms, Yudhishthir is right and has every right to stake Panchali. As per Dwapar Yuga norms, women should accept the fate which their husband bestows upon them.

Panchali is the only one who goes against all these so called rules. If rules are flawed, we have to change it. She understood this.

But speaking against injustice doesn't mean Draupadi didn't follow rules of her time, I am yet to read a description of her where anyone says that she wasn't a dutiful wife, now the dutiful wife for them is from their perspective, for example she was last one to eat, this is not acceptable now but she did it

She was last one to eat does not in anyway show her in poor light.

But read what she is saying here. She is the one to openly defy, mock and argue with Yudhishthir several times. She spoke badly of him several times.\

If she believes her husbands to be God and to always "listen and obey" them - this is not what she followed and stood for and she should not either.

If she is following Dwapar Yuga rules then why the important points raised in Dyut Sabha? Why accept anything Yudhi did was wrong because by those standards he was right

‘Chapter 1924(89)udhishthira said, “O Krishna! I have heard your agreeable words. They are indeed words thatyou should speak. O lord! They are like amrita and gladden my mind. Vijaya has indeed foughtmany battles with the lords of men, here and there and repeatedly. O Hrishikesha! I have heard that.Vijaya is extremely intelligent. However, it oppresses my mind that Partha is always separated fromhappiness. What is the mystery behind that? O Varshneya! I always think about Kunti’s son.344 O

VKrishna! His body possesses all the auspicious marks that are revered. What is the inauspicious mark, because of which, he always suffers misery? That son of Kunti has always borne a disproportionateshare of sorrow. I do not see anything on Bibhatsu’s body that can be censured. If you think I deserveto hear this, you should explain it to me.”’Vaishampayana said, ‘Having been thus addressed, Hrishikesha reflected for a very long time.Vishnu, the extender of the king345 and the king of Bhoja, replied. “O king! No inauspicious markscan be seen in him, but for the fact that the lion among men has cheekbones that are exceedinglylarge. That is the reason the tiger among men is perpetually fighting. I do not see any other reasonwhy Jaya should have his share of misery.” O lord! Thus addressed by the intelligent Krishna, theforemost among the Kurus told the tiger among the Vrishnis that this was indeed true. However,Krishnaa Droupadi cast a sidelong glance towards Krishna.346 The slayer of Keshi accepted this as asign of affection. She was his friend. Dhananjaya was also his friend and like Hrishikesha himself.

Debroy sir translates the bolded Sanskrit lines as large cheekbones. But pindike means male equipment also. In context, Krishna likely meant that.

Translation in ordinary English:

Yudhishtira: Why is this guy Arjuna always so miserable? (he is saying this in front of Krishna and Panchali)

Krishna: (silent)

Yudhishtira: You have to explain it.

Krishna: All I can say is Arjuna has a big ***, so he is the one who does all the fighting. So he's miserable.

PanchalI: (glares at Krishna).

Narrator: Krishna took her anger as a sign of affection because she was his friend, and Arjuna was his friend. Krishna and Arjuna were like each other. (Once again, the word used here is pranaya. Make whatever of it you will)

______________

Imagine if they actually showed this scene in any TV show. All hell will break loose.😆

If I am from today's time and someone asks me what I do at home, How I keep my husband happy, am I using a charm or anything

I am not gonna tell this person about fights with my husband, In this particular question she wasn't going to say anything against Yudi, she just told Satyabhama that she follows every rule of a dutiful wife according to people in Dwaparyug.

This is when you read it in English

In Hindi, it is draupadi telling women how to be a good wife

My point was that the God bit would have been added to support the religious nature of Mahabharata

It's against IF rules to use the actual word Krishna meant😆. I hope you got it.

Krishna was mocking Yudhishtira for the stupid and snarky question against Arjuna. Panchali got angry for the non-veg comment. She and Krishna were laughing at Yudhishtira.
