I think Vrisha means pure. No doubt he named his sons Vrishketu and Vrishsen.

Vrisha and Vrishni are 2 diff things.


Yayati had Yadu. A few gens later, Satvata was born who had Vrishni. He had Devamidhusha. Vasudev and Kunti were grandchildren of Devamidhusha. Hence Krishna is called Varshneya.


Vrisha is not the same.
