Absolutely fanstatic EPIC series! Will miss Saurabh Jain the most! He played Lord Krishna differently than Nitish Bhardwaj! Both were great.. Nitish was all about smile in any situations, Saurabh was firm and showed his anger at times. Well played both the actors!

Its good that this Mahabharat took different approach to the BR CHopra one. Whilst it was a masterstroke By BR CHopra to introduce SAMAY as a sutradhar and the dialogs by Dr Rahi Masoon Raza were of top notch.. the conversations and debates amongst Krishna, Vidoor, Bhishma, Dhritrashtra, Gandhari, Kunti were so deep and thought provoking... sometimes it became repetitive and boring. This one was more abt actions, exectuting important scenes and less about dialogs.

Acting wise, 1st one is way better than this one.. may be because the characters had ample time to develop and shine throughout the series. Punit Issar as Duryodhana, Mukesh Khanna as Bhishma, Arjun (a muslim actor who changed his name to Arjun) as Arjun, Pankaj Dheer as Karna, Goofi Pental as Shakuni, The actors who played Vidoor, Drona, Ashwathma, Kunti, and Of Course, Mr Bhimani's voice as SAMAY... are still unforgetable.

2 actors stood out this Mahabharat for me.. is Saurabh Jain and Draupadi (dont know her name). Pandavas looked too urban for an ancient time Epic! Duryodhan actor had to forcefully modulate his voice to sound menace! Arjun looked too young and innocent. Others were good, esp. Shakuni did very well.

The Last episode shud have been today- on Janmashtmi- a special episode as Lord Krishna talks to viewers about that time and today's time and how relevant this saga is even in modern time. That could have been better!

Anyways, Will miss this series as well and will watch it again in future on DVD set.

P.S. When Sanjay Khan failed miserably with his version of Mahabharat, I thought noone can make this Epic the way Chopras did. I m glad this series stood the test of time. Now hoping, Bollywood in co-operation with Hollywood... creates a Mahabharat Triology at a scale of TLOR, The Hobbits, and Big names in BW play some major characters. Just hoping. 😊

saurabh, saurav, shaheer, pooja, arpit, aham, arav, vin, rohit, lavanya, paras, richa, veebha, shafaq, praneet, nirbhay u guys have done a FABULOUS JOB!!!!!!!!!!!! 👏👏👏

thank u for giving us this mahabharat...

despite its distortions, we have been glued to the show...bcoz of this guys acting skills...

only hated dhritarashtra, shikhandi and shalya...otherwise loved each and every actor from the show...

the special effects, the action, the divinity, the charm, the charisma, the love, the pain, the revenge, the brotherhood, the hatred, the truth, the knowledge, the beauty, the perfection...everything has been awesome throughout the show...

there is not a single episode we have found boring...each and every episode has been shot perfectly

and last but not the least...the background music has been astounding all the time...it rocks, i actually have a playlist in my mobile of all the MB tunes and songs...

loved krishna's gyaan and sikhs, loved everything!!! will miss MB badly 😭

but will continue to watch or download episodes of MB from youtube ⭐️

Distortions? Mahabharat in its original form is the biggest Poem ever written.. and that too in Sanskrit. So it was left for interpretations.

Yes, this series took many liberties.. I wud its poetic liberties. HOWEVER, It handles the most controversial topics to some kind of logic. Right from 100 sons of Gandhari (showing the Pind was born almost dead, been divided into parts and been nurtured in separate cacoons in a cave.. by the grace of Ved Vyas himself).. to so-called Dharmraj Yudhisthir.. not only putting himself on bet... but after losing himself.. when he had no rights.. still went on to bet his brothers and then his wife... (first Mahabharat,I felt like Yudhisthir is the biggest asshole out there.. and If given choice, I wud rather be friend with Duryodhan than Yudhisthir.. I still blv that 😆 ).. the makers tried really hard to Yudhisthir's case.. well done.. but still not enuff! Will never be enuff.. thats the saddest part of this Epic.. but anyways, they tried. And then "share the Bhiksha amongst urselves.. they did give this chapter a good look.. but still ..And Draupadi cheerharan.. well, thats where the Mahabharat mahayudh was born.

What I really loved is the addition to main story.. The way Lord Krishna freezez time and show the mirror to Bhishma, Drona and Karan.. as to why and how they been doing bad Karma all their lives.. even though they were in illusion of doing the right Karma all their lives. Each one of them deserved to know they r not getting killed coz of dirty games.. but its the right punishment for them.. so people in their places know Dharma is much wider than being a Putra (son's duty), pitah( father's duty) or mitra(friend's duty).. and to think of society, righteousness and nation's well being. Even as a putra, pitah and mitra, they missed their duties... They backed their loved one's adharma. Total failure.

This was something new.. and very well done! Made me think abt my own karma and dharma as a son, father and husband.

Again, I will miss Lord Krishna.. wish he can stay forever.

I am definately gonna miss this show.

It was the routine for us to watch the show all together.

this show has done great with talented actors.wo fir praneet ho ya srj ya shaheer ya pooja ..the list is longg.apart from acting,all the lessons told by krishna and the music background is very good.
