very sweet of you 😛 I too finished watching the telugu movie.. but it was more or less a movie on MB than Karna.. as Karna Duryodhana and Krishna all were played by the main lead NTR all got equal importance in the film.. any idea how to add subtitles to a video?

meri sanskrit ki textbook mai ye ek chepter hai jo karn aur ashwatthama ke upar hai , usme ye shlok diya hai , isliye muze iska meaning pata hai . i hope ke tumhe yakin ho ke maine is shlok ka jo matalab likha hai vohi saahi hai kyunki textbook to kabhi galat nahi ho sakti na ?

I know this newbie Ishanid. She has posted exactly the correct words, spellings and meanings of the Shlokas. Few weeks ago, I had told Vrish brother that the Shlokas are written ulta-fulta and I will correct them when I get time. But I am too lazy 😆

Thanks to Ishanid for the correction. She is a huge fan of Aham Sharma and she always posts many screen caps of Karna on Aham Sharma FB FC and Aham's official page. 😃

Actually, there is no mention that Bheeshma or Drona knew. I doubt that even Parashurama did.

Yudisthir mentioned to Abhimanyu that only 4 people - Krishna, Arjun, Pradhyumna & Abhimanyu knew how to break it. He was talking universally, not just about his soldiers. After all, Pradhyumna was completely out of that war and Krishna was a non-combatant: their knowing or not knowing was irrelevant for his purposes, so wouldn't have merited mention. So only Arjun & Abhimanyu would have been worth mentioning, had Yudisthir been only talking about his troops.

So it's safe to conclude that of all these people - Parashurama, Bheeshma, Drona, Karna, Ashwatthama, Kripacharya, Kritavarma, Bhurishravas, none knew how to break this vyuha. Arjun may not have learnt this from Drona, but may have either learnt it from Krishna, or developed the skill independently, which he then went on to teach Pradhyumna & Abhimanyu.
