This is what I have questioned several times.

If you read the Battle at Virat, You will see Karna did not fire any Divyastra on his opponent.

Now if you read the citation which I provided few pages back, He nullified Arjuna shafts, Launched a Counter-attack on him and simultaneously breaking bow of three mightiest Pandava warriors (Bhima,Satyaki and Dhristdyuma). Second time too, He did the same thing, He nullified Arjuna shafts while launching Counter attack on him and simultaneously he fought with Abhimanyu, Bhima,satyaki.etc.

I wonder what happened to 'Virat Phenomena' during this fight.

Yes, Suryaputra - the scroll reader, Do you even know why Surya dev provide him with Kavach?, Because he wanted his son to be an excellent scroll reader even when somebody attacks him.

Even Parshurama in his traning taught him how to read scroll properly even in HARD times.

hey dont forget... Parasurama also cursed Karna that he will forget how to open the scroll letter when he needs it the most
