Geeta press's translation of Mahabharata (one of the authentic ), which even covers incidents which KMG missed does not say that Bhima conquered Karna during the Rajsuya.

Jarasandha who was famously killed by Bhima was actually earlier defeated by Karna and when Karna was about to tear him apart, Jarasandha befriended him and gave him the Kingdom of Malini.

Atlast, Karna spoke today, I was so hoping that he would mention his Vijaya dhanush when Arjuna was giving his Gandeev.
