Do you think Karna would have been better off if accepted by Kunti?

I hope you Karna loving people do not mind my reply (rather late one also). I have read Mrutyunjay so this information is from the book
Krishna did antim sanskar or last rites of Karna.
After Krishna goads Arjun to kill Karna (when he is on ground trying to fix the chaak of his rath - Krishna does this because he knows that if Arjun is killed Pandavas will not be able to survive and it was either Arjun lives or Karna lives due to Karna's promise to Kunti) he goes to Kunti and tells her.
Pandavas are happy about Karna but Kunti breaks down and tells them the truth finally.
Krishna & Kunti go do the last rites and Pandavas join them only later. They carry Karna to a hill to do his last rites.
Karna had a wish that his last rites should be done on a barren place so that the kind of misfortune and sorrow he faced in life should not be there again so the barren land where not even grass would grow.
Krishna gives fire to the pyre and Vrushali goes Sati. She does not even look at them all but just walks into the pyre. Her uttariya (odhani) falls down and Krishna picks it up, he is surprised to see it has a knot in it. So he unties it to find a piece of ghada (or matka) tied in it. Krishna is confused as to why that is so important to Vrushali even at the time of going sati.
That ghada piece was from the first meeting of Karna & Vrushali which she kept as a love symbol all her life

She asked him for daan, fully knowing he will never refuse

Just a humble request don't stomp on anyone that doesn't appreciate or is not in favor of the characters we like in the Mahabharat. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...and at the end of the day the Mahabharat isn't going to change ...just because one person likes this character more or less..it will remain glorious the way it is today, tomorrow, and throughout.
I received a lot of hate tweets today made me a little sad. Grow Up People!

I had written thses posts sometime back, Panchali told me to post again on this thread so doing so</font>
I read all the Qs about Karna & Draupadi so writing this information as per
book 'Mrutyunjay' on Karna
Karna ONLY loved Vrushali, she was the love of his life and they had absolutely
wonderful married life. The book 'Mrutyunjay' depicts this.
Karna used to go to river ghats early morning to give 'arghya' (offering of
water prayers) to Sun (Karna is Sun's son I hope you know that Kunti calls Sun
to test Durvasa's mantra) and he saves Vrushali from drowning in the
river. She breaks her water ghada and Karna offers her his uttariya
(shawl kind) since she gets completely drenched. Karna falls in love with
Vrushali and starts forgetting his uttariya on ghat steps every morning.
He sends his brother Shon to pick it up later. Duryodhan got to know of
this and investigated and it is Duryodhan who goes to Karna's father and
arranges Karna-Vrushali marriage. Karna at first does not know who his
bride to be is, but he cannot ever refuse Duryodhan. When Karna learns
his bride is Vrushali he gets overjoyed and that adds another layer to his
feelings of gratitude for Duryodhan
Supriya was Karna's second wife - he has to get married to her because Supriya
was Bhanumati's - Duryodhan's wife's sakhi and she had loved Karna all her
life. Bhanumati puts condition to Duryodhan that she will marry him only
if Karna marries Supriya. So Duryodhan asks Karna to marry Supriya.
Karna can never say no to Duryodhan, but Karna still goes to ask Vrushali's
permission and she gives ok.
After marriage Supriya first goes to Vrushali and thanks her for agreeing to
let Karna marry her, she tells Vrushali due to her she got to marry the love of
her life. Vrushali and Supriya shared very warm cordial relationship
according to Mrutyunjay.
Now about Karna Drupadi - it is Duryodhan who wants to marry Draupadi when her
swayamwar is declared. When he learns of the archery condition he knows
only Karna (or Arjun but at that time they think Pandavas are dead) can fulfill
this condition. Karna promises to Duryodhan he will win for him, but when
he goes to podium Draupadi insults him saying he cannot participate since he is
Sutputra, she does not want to marry person of lower caste. Karna and
Duryodhan both feel stung at his insult.
The second important encounter happened when they all go to Indraprastha, where
Draupadi sees Karna from her balcony, she says to her sakhi if I had not
stopped him and married Karna I would not have had to face this life of being
wife to five men.
Draupadi insults Duryodhan when he falls in water in maysabha - saying - Andh
pita ke putra bhi andh hote hai.
Which makes them all furious, Duryodhan gets to stung he cannot sleep for days
thinking of his humiliation that is when Shakunimama plans the entire Dyut
Krida.
Karna is thinkig he would have to save Draupadi if she asks for his help after
dyut - if she had asked for daan since he can never say no to any daan but she
does not ask him. Karna gets furious at the insult when she asks for
every single person's help in darbar but walks by him and he says all that bad
stuff about Draupadi.
Mrutyunjay
is written by Shivaji Sawant extremely well respected writer who did extensive
research. It is fabulously written book which depicts the real great
Karna who had all the good qualities of Pandavas.
This is again from the book -
Vrushali it is said was extremely lovely, tall and graceful woman. She
was also 'Sut' but had rare beauty and Karna took one look at her and fell in
love! She was real match for Karna in her looks also
They had real bond entire life.
Also Kunti Vrushali shared a special bond. Kunti could not openly create
a relationship with Karna but she did with Vrushali.
It is written in the book that after leaving infant Karna in the river the next
time Kunti saw Karna was at the chamionship where Kauravas & Pandavas
showed their weaponry prowess. Kunti fainted on seeing Karna and had to
be carried away.
The book says Kunti sent gifts on their wedding - Kunti gifted Karna with
'Angulitran' a kind of jewel to be worn on finger by archers and Vrushali a
specially woven blue color silk real gold jari sari which had design of 'Sun'
all over.
Vrushali it is written wore that sari on their Suhag-raat, Karna asked her why
and she replied because this sari conveys your wellknown devotion to 'Sun' on
blue color of sky.
Vrushali was well respected by Kaurav ladies too, also by Dushala - Duryodhan's
sister. Except for Bhanumati Duryodhan's wife who was extremely arrogant
and did not share any kind of bond even though her Sakhi Supriya was married to
Karna.
