It depends on people what they want to beleive and what they dont

Bookks like Mrityunjay,POI ,ajaya etc are written from a certain characters POV and hence in order to over glorify or bring out the pain ofthe central characters of these books many ficitonal incidents are added hence i read such books for entertainment but dont neccesarily beleive them

Then there are translationa and interpretions like jaya by devdutt patnaik suck books i will still bebeleivable .Translation and interpreations of ved vyas's MB wirtten in sanskrit authenticity wise has a lot of value in my eyes but books written from one characters POV not even called Mahabharat are just ficiton in my opinion

Yes what you're saying is correct! And, 'Mrityunjaya' is not only written from Karna's point of view, its also from Krishna,Kunti, Vrushali's point of view! 😊

But nowadays lots of purely fictional spicey books like POI, Mrityunjay , Shiva triology etc are hitting the shelves with fake demands of accuracy. N if a portion of d mass want to believe such fictional writings over n above d original epic, can we stop them ?? No we can't. Each to his\her own after all.
I've read only d original epic n I rely only on it n nothing else.

N I think original epic has shown him best, no other fictional story can outdo or outsmart it. Original epic painted my Aarya in all his complexities, all his grey shades, all his greatness, all his vulnerability that makes him so superbly interesting n intriguing n gloriously perfect.
No1 can paint his character better or more human than Vyas n Jainmeya did. <3
