So since so many people here are well read in different versions of MB can some one clarify to me if the story that when karan was dying in kurukeshtra war krishna ji told arjun that karna cant die fully becuase of all the merits he has earned in his life hence he came in the form of a brahmin to karna and asked him to 'dan' all his merits which karna did and after that oly he died.Is this true ?I mean is this part of any version of MB becuase i dont remember reading it in ved vyas's MB but still have heard this from other sources .Is this part of any version of MB or another folklore

On the part about Karna's head being cut off, I've changed that on pg 1 to say that the Anjalika 'slew him'. Meaning killed. Does your Vyasa reference say that a different weapon was used?

What I read is also that Karna did learn from Drona part of his education. I have not yet reached the post war sections. But when Karna promises to Duryodhan that he will defeat Arjuna, he says that 'with the help of his knowledge acquired from Drona and Parashurama, I will defeat Arjuna'.. am reading a Tamil condensed version so I dont think KMG is wrong atleast here..

Oh ho sorry, I did not say KMG is wrong, only thing is his translation is not the copy paste of Vyas Mahabharat, and translators always adds some of their own imaginations, good writers always do that😊and their are various translations of Mahabharat, some incidents differs books to book, this only because all great writers who translates it want to add their creativity to the great epic 😊 and I am no one to call any of those writers wrong...

Right Kat.. it is obvious that few things will get missed and particularly this being a poetry to prose translations.. All of us will be more than happy to know what exactly the poem says.. Obviously we love to hear from Vyasa rather than KMG 😛

Oh yah the golden golden Angaraj 😳.. these girls posted some caps from Parasurama episode.. now me wishing to see a simple sweet Karna in white robes 😃.. if they show him do his morning prayers to Suryadev.. Oh yeah we might see that when they introduce Vrishali.. that is where they meet acc to Mritunjaya I believe.. Oh wooowww... am so happieee 👏

hey i heard ladies of Hastinapur used to drool on Karna when he came out of bathing from hastinapur ghat,
imagine the scene he is all wet in his bare muscular chest and i think about my Aham like this.
oh no i am turning all pink then red 😳
