The new Draupadi shouldnt follow me: Roopa Ganguly

Roopa Ganguly, who played the character of Draupadi in BR Chopra's 'Mahabharat', is looking forward to Siddharth Tewary's version of the epic.

When asked for her views on the new Draupadi ( Pooja Sharma), she said, "I haven't seen her performing yet, but I am hopeful that she will do well. It is a very difficult character, and more difficult for her because the old Mahabharat is still etched in everyone's minds. My advice to her will be not to follow me. I did my bit about 25 years ago. Pooja is a young girl of today's generation. So I am sure she would be much more spontaneous and smart."
