Gulfam's role in Madhubala inspired by Sudha Chandran?
Preparations to catapult Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) to superstardom in Madhubala --- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon are on full swing. The forthcoming track will also mark entries of some known faces in the show.
After Shishir Sharma, Sheela Sharma (her role is inspired by Bindu in Om Shanti Om)and Anita Hassanandani, actress Gulfam Khan has been finalised to play a choreographer in the show.
Interestingly, her role is loosely based on veteran actress Sudha Chandran, also known for her dancing prowess. Says a source, "In the show, even after losing a limb, Gulfam's character pursues her passion for dance and will choreograph Madhubala's songs in her movie. She will be like an elder sister to Madhu on the sets of her movie."
Confirms Gulfam, "Yes, I am playing Chitra, a Bengali choreographer in the show."
