Pallavi Purohit puts work before health
There is a saying in the film industry that no matter what, the show must go on. This saying was put into practice recently by, Pallavi Purohit, who plays the role of, Padmini, in the 'Colors' show "Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon". She was recently hospitalized for her stomach ailments, which required a minor surgery.
The committed and dedicated actress that she is, got herself admitted to the hospital on the 27th August and after undergoing the operation was discharged on the 28th of August. The very next day she was seen on the sets of her show to complete her portion of shoot, instead of taking rest, as advised by her doctors.
Her justification was that since her work for the show was pending she could not have afforded to take leave. She was all praise for the unit members and co actors who took great care to ensure her comfort while shooting. She was even given a fruit basket by her on screen daughter, Drashti Dhami aka Madhubala.
