I just found out yesterday that one of the themes of this story is overconfidence, hence the reason for Haseena's downfall. All this while she had companions and not competitors. Bulbul was never a competitor and she knows this too well. This is getting way more interesting than I expected. Today would be the case-solving day and as sad I would be at MPT losing, this is actually needed. Sometimes downfalls are needed to stay grounded. With excessive success, even the most humble person tends to get a tad bit arrogant so a bit of failure is definitely needed. Yess, I just realized that theme as well. I think its overconfidence and insecurity both, and how they can hinder the growth/productivity of even the most capable person. For almost a whole year in the show, that person was Karishma. In between I think it was Cheetah, he was insecure about being accepted as Santuji's life partner, plus overconfident that he'll win her over regardless. In that he became overly obsessive and lost all sense of duty, integrity, what not. Now its Haseena's insecurity and overconfidence that's eating away at her emotional stability and cop skills.

Totally agree about the downfall and bouncing back. In today's episode she handled the loss well and gave AV due credit without attitude or resentment. Love that she admitted she was on the wrong trail the whole time, yes girl you really did start off on the wrong foot in this case. And the way she prioritized solving the next bomb case without fussing about AV's lead or their competition. Haayeee, it reminded me of original HM from thana competition days, saying duty and public service will always come first no matter what. Truly, HM's prestige/name/fame, all of it is based on her strong values, integrity and dedication. So its lovely to see that fundamental quality again that made her an inspiration.

Yea, but I think this will be temporary. I'm sure Yukti is getting some more time off while makers are building up AV's character and his dynamics with HM.

Plus, Karishma isn't full on comic like cheetoshpa so its hard for them to integrate her anywhere besides the 'sandwich' situations or as a sidekick to either SHO. Neither does she have her old bhaukaal anymore that she'll randomly drag suspects to thana and beat them up.

So I think writers are still considering where she will best fit into this track aside from the 'sandwich'. Maybe there will be a track surrounding her, maybe she will have her own face off with an SHO, not sure. But obviously karishma will get her share of screen time soon, they won't keep her on the side the whole time.

Anyone on the 'Amarseena' scene today? 😆

As soon as they showed the spilt water I was like nooo way, don't tell me HM is gonna slip and AV will catch her. Oof that would have been so so cliche that I'd skip right over it. That didn't happen, I got happy, but then she twisted her foot I'm like oh of course, the other possible way of caring 😆.

It was so surprising to see HM get all worked up over a sprained ankle, even more so in front of an 'opponent'. She's been adamant to not get vulnerable in front of anyone so I was quite shocked that she didn't even try refusing AV's help. She couldn't take off her own sock? 😆 Also what is this ITV obsession of snapping ankles back to fix them, and all males knowing the trick? 🤪

But AV looked so adorable helping without fuss or embarrasing her. He said such an apt quote "a trustworthy enemy is better than a betraying friend".

Is it just me or did AV end up taking the wrong bag from the table?

nothing is missing, actually I was talking about Karishma's screen time which is actually missing, but I hope it is temporary.

@bold: I think it's the latter. I think he knows how Amar is being treated by his family and his past as well. Nevertheless, his baseless allegations are indeed triggering. But then I think he s the male version of Pushpa ji but a bit bitter and more intense. As far as I have noted, he is as protective of Amar as Pushpa ji is of Haseena. Still, let's hope they cut down on the allegations and the OTT argument between the two because ta one point it doesn't seem as funny.

An interesting thing to note was that she specifically asked for Amar. Wonder why? What did Amar do or is she testing Amar Also, massive points to our Haseena for stopping Pushpa ji immediately and allowing Amar to give further instructions. This is the HAseena I know and love, Duty first, useless banter later. They will definitely solve this case together if not HAseena. Both will be giving credit to each other.
