Good post and thoughts! like you said.. No point in making sense out of anything..

I guess enjoy the show and the actors. 😊 😊

Actually now a days there is so much content to watch that whatever clicks at whatever time of the day/mood you are watching is good enough.

I personally watch Madam Sir because of all the actors and that it is not gross and does show all kinds of nonsense which is available on OTT/other channels and it is a simple Hulka Phulka stuff.

True. I shouldn't be boiling my blood over a fiction show, that too on itv which runs on TRPs 😅. But I think I have such high expectations because the friendship hits on a personal level. It's the most relatable concept with the cleanest execution I've ever seen on itv. Guess the only solace can be some good ffs and a strong imagination power haha. I keep reminding myself its only a stress buster comedy show lol, no need to get serious.

The light-hearted comedy is what has me impressed too. And yes, you are absolutely right. The actors and their characters are amazing and worth excusing little glitches and flaws here and there. 😳

I wish na! Next 2 months are super busy for me at work, and I'm not that efficient at writing stories. I've read a few decent ffs on wattpad, but most of them are either for Anuseena or show Kareena as a couple. So I was actually hoping someone here would write something nice haha. Koi toh sunlo 😄

I was thinking of writing, nothing too big, maybe drabbles or just OS, but am also too caught up with work and so the mind is blank on what to write about 😆

is it too late to join the conversation? XD don't mind me trespassing. it's just such a relief to be able to discuss and debate after nearly two years of holding it in.

Not at ALL. The more the merrier. Always good to hear viewpoints.

currently what has left me scratching my head is haseena wanting to get back with anubhav and reveal the truth to him. kyu bhen? why?

baki MPT wale kya jhak marne ayen hain?

this is the same guy who left you hanging at your engagement ceremony and as a result, some other couple who probably wasn't ready had to take that place. I won't ever agree with how the couple was coerced into it. but again, she was heartbroken and couldn't think straight so I can painstakingly close one eye. however, that humiliation isn't something one can easily forget if at all. he broke her trust not once but twice in one of the most brutal manners possible.

every action has consequences. if we make choices, we need to have the guts to face the outcome of it- good or bad notwithstanding.

so as a patriot, I can respect him. he chose his country and that is commendable. the consequence was sacrificing his love. fine, I can understand that too.

but as a lover, he failed miserably. he could have easily told haseena that he had to go on a mission and the chances of returning were slim. as such, he didn't want to go through with the engagement ceremony. haseena would have understood it and waited for him. there was absolutely no need for him to behave so immaturely by sending those pictures and then straight up ditching her on the day.

he has proven himself to be flaky, unreliable and quite honestly untrustworthy. how is she trusting him with not just her heart once more but a national secret when he can't even handle his own personal life properly.

'ehsaas wala pyaar' isn't the question here anymore- it never was. trust, communication, reliability, loyalty is? in my point of view, he doesn't check either of those. and the inconsistent ways in which she reacts to this man is confusing. he stood up for herself and self-respect as mentioned by another member. I lauded that phase. she wasn't weeping helplessly like typical ITV bahus. but then; one moment it's, "agar pyaar hain toh jayega kahan. aur agar gaya, toh tha hi kab." the next it's, "unki koyi majboori hogi." hain? yeh toh arshi khan aur nikki tamboli se bhi bari flipper nikli.

now some people on IG have told me that what haseena is doing is the same as what anubhav did. do I agree? to a certain extent. is it completely true? no. why? the circumstances/situations/reasons/ motivations in which these events happened are different.

anubhav in his complete conscious mind took this decision to leave her at the engagement ceremony rather than communicate his reasons beforehand. he was cognizant of the effect it will have. his motivation was love for his country.

haseena literally fell to her death, miraculously survived and now has to find her culprit in a disguise. she wasn't given a choice in the matter and was led to believe the said culprit was someone from her team. her motivation is seeking justice for herself and saving her country.

now, this is the flip side of this argument. now that everyone has been proven innocent, why isn't she telling MPT the truth? I am trying to understand but I can't find a valid reason other than being bound by orders from her senior. here she is making the same mistake anubhav did and the consequences are going to be disastrous for everyone involved.

ps. Karishma is definitely the kind of friend you treasure no matter what.

pps. every character on the show is currently behaving OOC.

It's never too late for a discussion.🤗 Just jump right in whenever you need to share opinions or POVs or even vent or just rant away. Am dying to make this forum as active as the forums that I am in. 😆

As for your take on Haseena as well as Anubhav, I share the same sentiments. Am annoyed by Haseena's desperation in regards to Anubhav as well. If there is anyone who deserves to know the full truth from her first it is her MPT and more precisely KS and not Anubhav. These days I skip all Anuseena scenes coz whenever I see them together and Haseena back to swooning at him, I feel like shaking her till she remembers his betrayal. I keep telling myself that the fall has impacted her brain so she doesn't remember so that I am calmer about Anuseena sequences 😆😆

And yes, you are right, as a patriot Anubhav is definitely respectable but as a partner, I don't see him as worthy because he betrayed Haseena not once but twice and each time he has hurt her worse than the previous time. As a woman myself and even as a human, I don't appreciate one person using the other for their gain and running away like a coward without a single word on the engagement is beyond the next chance for that person. As the proverb goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me" 😊
