Part 22:

It has been six months since the day Mahi and Shabd arrived in Mumbai. They are well known in the fashion industry as well as Angad and Kripa and the hearthrobs of many teens. However, the teens hearts were broken when they found out that Mahi and Shabd were engaged and Angad and Kripa were going out. They also got the good news that Raji was pregnant. No one was happier then Mahi. After a lot of planning, Angad finally got the courage to ask Kripa out. Today was their six month anniversary and Angad planned on proposing to Kripa.

Shabd and Angad were at a jewelry store looking for a ring for Kripa while Mahi kept Kripa busy.

Angad:Ugh! Mujhe koi unghoti nahin mil ri. Ab main Kripa se kaise propose karoon.

Shabd:Calm down bhai! Don't worry, tumhe woh unghoti mil jayegi.

Angad:Ek baat batao. Tumne Mahi ke liye unghoti kaisi dhoondh li?

Shabd:Oh...woh maine nahin dhoodi.

Angad:Phir kisne?

Shabd:Mere bhaiyon ne.

Angad:Kya!

Shabd:Haan...woh mere bhaiyon ne plan banaya tha mujhe aur Mahi ko ek karne. Matlab...apna pyar ka izhaar karna. Aur unki mehndi wale din humne kar liya. Phir kehte haina...chat mangni phir bya.

Angad:Kitne lucky ho tum. Mujhe to woh unghoti kahin bhi nahin mil ri. Kitne dino se hum dhoondh rahe hain. Par mili kya?

Just then Angad saw the perfect diamond ring. It was like it was just meant for Kripa. Angad quickly went over, asked the salesperson to pack that ring for him. After packing the ring, the salesperson handed the bag over to Angad.

After they bought the ring, they quickly went over to Angad's place to do last minute preparations; like checking the restaurant and flowers etc.. After they were done, Shabd dressed Angad in a nice black tux for the special occasion. When Shabd was done, Shabd called Mahi to give her the thumbs up to bring Kripa over.

Kripa:Mahi, hum kahan ja rahe hai? Kuch to batao.

Mahi:Sorry, main kuch nahin bata sakti. Bas tum yeh pehno aur jaldi bahar a jao.

Kripa:Par Mahi....

Mahi:Chup! Jaldi tayyar ho jao. Please?

Kripa:Theek hai.

Kripa went inside and got dressed in the white dress that Angad wanted to see her in. She got out looking extravagent. Mahi quickly but carefully - not wanting to ruin her dress - got her into the car and drove her to the restaurant where they first went out. Mahi got Kripa out of the car and were heading to the restaurant when Mahi turned to leave.

Kripa:Mahi, tum kahan jaa rahi ho? Hum to Angad aur Shabd ko mil re hain?

Mahi:Haan par main apna phone to car main hi bhool gayi. Ti jaa, main abhi leker ati hoon.

Kripa:Theek hai.

Mahi (whispers):Haan keh dena!

Kripa:Tumne kuch kaha kya?

Mahi:Nahin to, and walks off.

Kripa (to herself):Pata nahin Mahi ko kya ho gaya hai. Kuch batati nahin. Aur Shabd, woh aisa act kar raha hai jaise aaj kuch hone wala hai. Aur yeh Angad, phone bhi nahin uthata. Pata nahin usko kya ho gaya hai.

As Kripa was talking to herself, Mahi just smiled. She was walking in the opposite direction as Kripa when Shabd pulled her towards him so that her back was facing the wall and Shabd was covering her with no room to move.

Mahi:Shabd! Yeh tum kya kar rahe ho? Kisi ne dekh liya to?

Shabd:To kya hua? Aur koi dekhne wala nahin hai. Humne sara restaurant book kar liya hai. To koi ana wala nahin hai.

Mahi:Acha.

Shabd:To Ms. Mahi Malhotra. Tum kab Mrs. Mahi Shabd Sareen banogi?

Mahi:Kyon, itni jaldi bhi kya hai?

Shabd:Tum shaadi nahin karna chati? Main betaab ho raha hoon. Batao na, hum kab shaadi karein ge?

Mahi:Bahut jald.

Shabd:Kab?

Mahi:Bata doon?

Shabd:Please?

Mahi:Theek hai. Do hafte baad. Maine abhi mummyji se baat ki hai. uno ne shaadi ki tayyarian bhi shuru kar li.

Shabd:Sach! Tumhe pata nahin tumne mujhe kitna khush kiya hai. Bahut jald, hum ek hone wale hai, phir humare bache hone wale hain phir hum pachon ek happy family ban jayenge aur hum picninc par jayenge, games khele ge, ghoomne jayenge aur.....

Mahi:Shabd! Tum kitna bolte ho. Aur tumne sab kuch bhi soch liya hai. Hum pachon?

Shabd:Haan, maine kaha tha humare teen bache honge aur hum do hain to hum paanch huye na?

Mahi:Haan, yeh to sahi hai par teen bache?

Shabd:Kyon? Tumhe teen bache ache nahin lagte kya?

Mahi:Nahin, bahut ache lagte hain. Kyon nahin honge. Tumhare jaise honge, BADMASH!

Shabd:Mahi!

As Mahi and Shabd were discussing their wedding, Kripa was upset that everyone was keeping her in the dark for something but she did not know what.

As Kripa walked in to the restaurant, her mouth dropped. There were lit candles everywhere, rose petals on the ground, and romantic music playing in the background. She then saw Angad standing in front of her.

Angad came up to her and gave her a red rose.

Angad:Kripa, main janta hoon hum kuch hi mehne mile the, par main tumse kudhbhi se zyada pyar karta hoon.

Angad went down on one knee as Kripa had tears spring to her eyes and took out the ring.

Angad:Kripa main tumse vaada karta hoon ke main tumhe hamesha khush rakhoonga. Main apni jaan se zyada tumhe pyar karoonga. Marte daam tak. Kripa Sharma, kya tum mere saath zindagi bhar do gi? Kya tum mujhse shaadi karo gi, will you marry me?

Kripa:Haan. Main hamesha tumhara saath doon gi.

Angad got up and placed the ring on her finger.

Mahi+Shabd:Yes, WOHOO! Congratulations!

Kripa+Angad:Thank you.

Shabd:To terd hua. Hum dono couples ek hi din mein, ek hi mandap par shaadi karein ge.

Mahi:Theek do hafte baad.

Kripa:Itni jaldi? Hum tayyarian kaise karein ge. Aur...

Shabd:Tum fikar mat karo. Humne sab kuch sambhal liya. Hum charon kal ki flight se Bhatinda jaa rahein hai.

Mahi:Chalo Kripa, hum tumhara saman pack karne mein madat karti hoon.

Kripa:Theek hai, aaj raat tum mere ghar par raho gi.

Mahi:Sure, Shabd, main tumhe kal subah milti hoon jab tum aur Angad hume pick karne ao ge.

Shabd:Manzoor hai. par hum kudh dinner karte hain aur tum dono apna special dinner kar lena. hum tumhe 1 1/2 ghante mein milenge? Theek hai?

Angad+Kripa:Haan.

Everyone left to their respectful tables and had dinner. The girls chattered excitedly about the wedding while the guys just stared at their happy faces just mesmerized.
