No problem. I will post another update today. And thanks for liking Mahi and Shabd's chemistry, I tried to make it cute and to find out if nothing comes in b/w them...you are going to have to read and find out! There are definetly some things coming up later in the story.😉

Part 20:
Mahi woke up early in the morning; it was the day of the picnic the gang had planned and she invited everyone to come here and get ready then leave. She had a lot of work.

Mahi:Good morning Shabd.

Shabd:Good morning.

Mahi:Aaj tum itna jaldi kyon uth gaye? Tum to late uth the ho.

Shabd:Kyunki aaj hume picnic par jana hai. Aur main tumhe sara kaam karne nahin doonga. Aur jitna jaldi main uthoon ga, uthni jaldi main tumhara chehra dekh sakta hoon.

Mahi:Wah, aaj tum to bahut romantic ho rahe ho.

Shabd:Aaj main itna romantic hoon to socho shaadi ke baad main kaise hon ga.

Shabd mischeviously looked at Mahi while she blushed after realizing what he meant.

Mahi:Shabd! Chalo, hatho. Mujhe bahut kaam hai kitchen mein. Khana banana hai.

Shabd:Theek hai. Main fresh hokar tumhari madat karta hoon.


Mahi entered the kitchen and decided that she would make sandwiches and salads for the picnic.She got out all the ingredients and started to make the sandwiches when she felt arms come around her.

Mahi:Shabd! Yeh tum kya kar rahe ho? Hatho, mujhe bahut kaam hai.

Shabd placed his chin on Mahi's shoulder and Mahi stopped making the lunches.

Shabd:Kuch bhi to nahin. Mahi, mujhe aaj hi pata chala ke main tumhe ek cute se naam se pukar ta hoon. Par tum to mujhe....

Mahi:Acha? Kis naam se tum mujhe pukar te ho?

Shabd:Wifey.

Mahi:Par main tumhari wifey abhi hoon nahin. Hone wali hoon.

Shabd:To kya hua. Hone to wali ho na. Tum bhi mujhe ek cute sa naam do na.

Mahi:Theek hai. Saandh kaisa rahe ga? Pehle bhi main tumhe is naam se pukar ti thi.

Shabd:Bilkul nahin. Mujhe "Darling" bulao na.

Mahi:Kya! "Darling". Bilkul nahin. Yeh kaisa naam hai?

Shabd:Cute hai. Bulao na.

Mahi:Nahin.

Shabd:Theek hai.

Shabd turned Mahi around and started to tickle Mahi; Mahi was very ticklish. It was a very romantic moment. They stopped when they heard someone cough. When they turned around, they saw Soni and Jeet
standing in the kitchen.Mahi and Shabd both blushed red.

Soni:We are so sorry. Hum to bas tum dono ki madat karne aye the.

Jeet:Haan. Sorry..

Shabd:Umm....it's ok.

Jeet:Shabd, chal. Bahar gadi mein saman load karne ki madat kar. Bhai aur Angad bhi bahar hain.

Shabd:Theek hai, chalo.

Shabd headed out with Jeet to help Veer and Angad to load stuff in the car. Kripa and Raji came in to help them make food.

Veer, Jeet, Shabd and Angad came in just as the girls finished packing the snacks and lunches.

Veer:Ab hum tayyar ho jayein? Phir hum chalte hain.

Shabd:Theek hai, chalo. Mere kamre tum log change kar lo.

Soni:Phir hum kahan tayyar honge?

Mahi:Tu bhi na Soni. Of course mere kamre mein.

Veer and Jeet both wore jean shorts, however Veer wore a blue shirt while Jeet wore a dark green one. Angad wore kahk shorts with a red t-shirt outlining his muscles and Shabd wore blue and beige plaid shorts with a white t-shirt outlining his muscles.

Raji and Soni both wore floral pattern type of skirts with matching shirts. Mahi wore a green and brown pattern dress. Kripa also wore a dress but was blue and white.

After everyone got dressed, they headed out to the cars. There were eight of them and two cars, split evenly.

Veer:Kyon nahin main Raji, Soni aur Jeet ek gadi mein chale jayein aur Mahi, Shabd, Kripa aur Angad ek gadi mein?

Shabd:Haan, yeh theek rahe ga.

Mahi:Theek hai, chalo Kripa, hum peeche beht the hain.

Angad:Gadi kaun chalaye ga?

Mahi:Aisa kyon nahin karte Shabd jate waqt chalaye aur Angad tum chalana jab hum ayenge?

Shabd+Angad:Sure.

Everyone got into their respected cars and left for the beach that was an hour's drive. Mahi and Kripa told embarrasing stories about Shabd and Angad while they tried to stop them. Everyone enjoyed the ride there. All the awkwardness gone.

Shabd gave Mahi glances from the rearview mirror but she woulsn't notice. He smiled seeing her talking and laughing happily. Angad would do the same but not to Mahi. He would look at Kripa. It hadn't been long that his heart was broken but he didn't feel any pain. He felt something different for Kripa that he never felt for Mahi. They had gotten really close last night. They met a couple of times at the agency but yesterday was the most they talked.

Kripa felt the same way Angad felt. Of course she was heartbroken over Shabd but she felt differently towards Angad. They were both confused.

It had gotten really quite so Mahi asked Shabd to turn the radio on. The song Ab To Forever came on and Shabd started to sing along. Mahi and Kripa looked at each other and burst out laughing. But decided it was fun so they joined in.

The song ended and the four started to laugh.

Kripa:Shabd, mujhe pata nahi tha tum itna acha ga lete ho.

Shabd:Woh actually, mujhe bhi nahin pata tha. Main apni bhaiyon ke sagai mein pata chala.

Mahi and Shabd remembering the song they sang together and the whole war against men and women.

Angad:AUr Mahi, tumne to mujhe kabhi nahin bataya ke tum itna acha ga leti ho.

Mahi:To, tumne to mujhe bhi nahin bataya. Anyway, Kripa tum kamaal ka gati ho.

Kripa:Thanks.

And Mahi continued her bickering with Angad. Shabd laughed remembering that he too use to bicker like that with Mahi.

Kripa loved the smile that was on Angad's face. It showed the childish side of him. Kripa found it cute.

They finally arrived at the beach, Raji, Veer, Soni and Jeet were already there and were waiting for their fun day to begin!

I really liked the story...you are a really good writer but I think you need to add some drama...bw shabd and mahi to make it more interesting....to show different sides of there personalities.
