Part 23:

Mahi:Shabd, main bahut excited hoon! Humari shaadi ki tayyarian shuru hone wali hain! Maine sab kuch soch liya hai. Par Shabd, mujhe ek badi shaadi nahin chahiye, mujhe ek choti se shaadi bahut pasand hai. Bas, humara parivaar aur humare sab se ache dost wahan honge. Aise shaadi maza kuch aur hi hota hai. Kyon?

Shabd:Haan...

Mahi:Shabd, main bachpan mein apni shaadi ke sapne dekha karti thi. Wahan mere favourite se phool honge, ek khoobsoorat sa mandap hoga, mera parivaar aur mera sapno ka rajkumar mujhe apna banakar le jayega. Aur...

Shabd couldn't help but smile when Mahi was talking about her dream wedding. It was so cute. Mahi finally stopped talking when she caught Shabd staring at her with so much love and affection that clearly displayed in his eyes. She immediately stopped talking and blushed.Shabd then pulled Mahi off her chair and put her on his lap.

Mahi:I'm sorry. Main to bolte hi ja rahi hoon. Yeh humari shaadi hai aur main tumhara opinion bhi nahin poocha.

Shabd:Tum kaisi bate kar rahi ho Mahi. Actually tum bahut cute lag rahi thi jab tum humari shaadi ke batein kar rahi thi, sapne saja rahi thi. Aur jaisa tum chahogi, aisa hi hoga.

Mahi:Par Shabd, yeh hum dono ki shaadi hai. Tumhare bhi sapne honge. Batao, tumhe kaisi shaadi chahiye?

Shabd:Umm.....aisi shaadi wahan sab ladke mujhse jalne lage. Aisi shaadi ke poori duniya batein karein. Ek aisi shaadi wahan main sab ke samne tumhe apni patni banaon ga, tumhare saath agni ko sakshi man kar saath phere loonga aur ek doosre se vaada karein ge hum hamesha ek doosra ka saath denge, hamesha saath rahenge. Ek aisi shaadi wahan sirf tum meri dulhan ban kar ao gi.

Mahi had tears come to her eyes. It was the sweetest thing he had ever said. Shabd gave Mahi a hug and stayed in that position for a while.

Mahi:Shabd, tum kitne ache ho. Main bahut khushkismat ke mujhe tumhara jaisa ek jeevan saathi mil raha hai.

Shabd:Mahi, yeh tum kaisi batein kar rahi ho. Aur yeh ansoon phoncho, mujhe yeh bilkul pasand nahin hai.

Mahi:Theek hai. Shabd, mujhe ek baat bataye, tumne aisa kyon kaha ke sab ladke tumse jalne lage?

Shabd just laughed and then told her the reason. They continued to talk about their wedding and their plans for the future. As they were talking about their future, a man across the country was boarding a plane that was going to Mumbai.

At The Airport

Flight Attendent:Sir, may I see your boarding pass and passport please?

Man:Oh, I'm so sorry. Here you go.

Flight attendent:Thank you, you may enter the plane.

Man:Thank you.The man is entering the plane. Mahi, I'm coming. Main tumhare liye India a raha hoon.

In Mumbai

After Mahi and Shabd finished their dinner, they met with Angad and Kripa and went home to pack for tomorrow. Mahi went with Kripa to help her pack pack while Shabd went along with Angad to discuss wedding plans.

Kripa's House

Kripa:Mahi, kya tum woh suitcase nikalo gi, tab tak main apne kapde nikalti hoon.

Mahi:Theek hai.

Kripa:Ek minute, Mahi, tumne kaha that ki Shabd aur Angad hume subah pick karne ayenge aur aaj raat to tum yahan rehne wali ho. To tumhara saman?

Mahi:Tum fikar mat karo. Maine apna saman to pehle se hi pack kar liya tha. Shabd kal subah le ayenge.

Kripa:Phir to theek.

Phone rings.

Kripa:Yeh phone kiska hoga?

Mahi:Shayad Angad ka hoga. Shaadi tak intezaar nahin ho raha.

Kripa picks up the phone.

Kripa:Hello?

Angad:Hello soon to be Mrs.Angad Khana.

Kripa:Shetaan ka naam liya aur hazir ho gaya.

Mahi understood that it was Angad on the phone so she decided to give her some privacy. She waved goodbye and left for her her room.

Mahi entered her room when someone hugged her from behind. She was about to scream but someone placed a hand over her mouth. The person turned her around to face him.

Mahi:Shabd! Tum!

Shabd:Haan main.

Mahi:Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho.

Shabd:Actually, main tumse milne aya hoon. Itni der se main tumhare begar raha nahin, to main tumhe miss kar raha tha. Mujhe adat si pad gayi tumhare saath sone ki aur tumhare saath rehni ki.

Mahi:So sweet. Par tum to Angad ke ghar par the. To tum...

Shabd:Angad Kripa se baat karna chata tha to maine kaha phone kar lo. Aur main janta tha ki tum Kripa ke paas ho gi. Aur tum use akela chodne ki liye tum apne kamre mein a jaogi.

Mahi:Very smart. Par tumhe adat dalni hogi mere begar rehni ki.

Shabd:Woh kyon.

Mahi:Kyunki jab hum Bhatinda jayenge aur humrai shaadi ki tayyarian ho rahi hai, hum saath to nahin rahen ge. Is liye.

Shabd:Kya!

Shabd pouted like a little child while Mahi laughed at his expression. Shabd got angry and turned around not facing her. Mahi tried to pacify him but didn't work. She hugged him from the back and Shabd melted, he didn't care that he wouldn't be able to stay with Mahi for two weeks, he just returned her hug and Mahi smiled.

As Mahi and Shabd were talking, the plane from the U.S. took off to come to Mumbai.

In The Plane

Man (takes out a picture of Mahi):Mahi, tumse kitni der baad mil raha hoon. America jane ki wajah se main apni dil ki baat nahi bata paya, par main tumhare liye a raha hoon, tumhe apna banane ki liye. I Love You Mahi.

Kripa's house

Mahi:Ab tum jao. Kal hume jaldi uthna hai. Airport nahin jana kya?

Shabd:Theek hai. Tum dono 9 baje tak tayyar ho jana. Bye.

Shabd left through the window after he gave Mahi a peck on the cheek.

Mahi:Shabd bhi na. Par so sweet.

Shabd(thought):Main do hafte ki liye Mahi ke saath nahin reh sakta. Arre Bhagwan, yeh aap kya kar rahe ho? Main Mahi ke bina do hafte kaise rahoonga? Shabd, calm down. Tu use mil payega. Par tumhe sabar karna hoga. Phir shaadi ke baad woh to hamesha tumhare paas hi rahegi.SHABD REASSURED HIMSELF. TWO WEEKS WAS GOING TO BE HARD FOR HIM.
