I think the folk singer u r referring to was Lakhwinder Wadali! I think he belongs to the famous Wadali family; can someone confirm?

He was the best in the folk category followed very closely by the lady from UP ... didnt get her name 😳 ... Saturday had the best in the folk category! I think Rajeev is lacking in front of these people ... he has to do much better...

The Bollywood guys were no less on Saturday!!! Sharib is in superb form and am so happy for that! That girl Tarannum was very very good too! and how Saptak has improved!!

Am soo looking forward to the forthcoming episodes! 😊

It is nice to see fresh faces and different signers instead of recycled singers and songs from past 3-4 yrs. This show was breath of fresh air. Hope it stays that way.

The two girls in the sufi team were lagging behind the above 4 IMO, Kavita Seth especially ... her higher notes were not correct ...

Oh my God Mohmd.Vakil was fantastic and what class and control.Heis outstandung.I really admire him.I was mesmerized by his singing.

Akbar ali and Mohd Vakil were fantastic again. I feel Harshdeep might get eliminated.

Lakhvinder is the son of P C Wadali , Vakils Dad & Uncle are Hussain Brothers who sang Veer Zara Qawali.


The choice of Lakhvinder has not been great , He has magic in his voice like his Dad & Uncle. Listen to some of his recordings Like , Ranjha , Charkha , Jogia etc. Hope he chooses songs that best describe him.

Jasvinder has silky voice and did a world tour with Shaban & Javed for their stage play "Kaifi aur Mein". He sang Rafi songs while they were performing. You tube has some clips of that show.

Vakil is awaz ka Jadugar , well trained and winner of 98 SRGMP.

I agree Lakhwinder is so talented. I was listening to charkha earlier, he is an awesome singer. Talent runs in the family.

He just enjoys singing and that is apparent in his performances. I don't want him to be eliminated.

not only sharib and toshi but also he is going to make Amanat and other contastant to rum for money. He is as good as Mussarrat abbas.
