but when you do criticize him there is an appropriate way to do so. not by creating multiple threads on the same issue and calling him mental and all the other options you had in the poll.

πŸ˜• Where in the thread did I say he was mental? that one of the choices, and guess what most of the people picked that choice...15 people in fact picked that choice...πŸ˜• let's face it, you come on the forum, see your favorite getting criticized and then immediately go and use your influece to shut those people up...πŸ˜• D sir being called stinky is all over the forum, but did you do anyting about that thread? nope...πŸ˜•

ankit tu samaj yaar!!! your poll choices were WRONG. they were directly bashing/attacking a contestant! if you poll choices had been different maybe then things would have been different.

next time if you feel any thread releated to dharmesh is inappropriate forward it to me and i'l check it out! and have it closed if thats the case!

Tannishta if I feel im being either personally or as-a-group being attacked then Im going to defend myself. Im so sorry πŸ˜•

^ Mihir I'm NOT attacking you. What do you want me to do?

Fine I'll apologize. I'm sorry. But I also have a right to say how I feel.

I agree. As much as I love Manish as a host, I also felt bad that Jai was so rudely taken off the stage like that. :(

After watching the episode, I honestly didn't get the big deal about Jai voicing out his opinions. And what bugs me the most about how people took his comments, is that he was actually COMPLETELY right! Jai does have a lot of knowledge acquired about various dance styles now, and he was just trying to share it. It was nothing personal against Amar or Vandana, and it was not out of insecurity or jealousy at all. He was just pointing out the techniques which the judges actually failed to do! I agree that he should've worded it better though. Jai isn't the most eloquent with words, but he DOES have the knowledge!! Amar and Vandana totally screwed up this performance! πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

I seriously don't get why contestants aren't allowed to challenge the judges' opinions! πŸ˜• The judges are only humans after all. They also miss things sometimes. As a dancer, Jai is DEFINITELY much more senior than Amar!! He has more training for God's sakes! Amar wasn't even that trained before DID 2. Most of the training he has acquired has been from DID only. Whereas Jai has actually acquired a lot of training in various dance styles. He is a senior dancer in terms of TRAINING for sure! I don't know why that is so hard to accept. It has nothing to do with Amar's talent or potential as a dancer, but Jai IS more knowledgeable! I don't know about which team overall is better, but Jai is seriously miles ahead of Amar in terms of training and dance! Amar still has a long way to go.

And I really didn't think Amar took the criticism well either. He started pointing fingers back at Jai and Siddesh. I think THAT is what worsened the atmosphere not Jai's comments. Amar really wasn't very mature in this situation either. I don't get why that is being overlooked completely. πŸ˜• It's like the DID 1 people can do no right. Of course if you're keeping a closed and biased mind like that, you will never see anything right with the DID contestants. You have to be a little open minded and realize that these guys are just humans. They are not perfect by any means.

@ Bold: Totally!! I think both the teams have their flaws. It's not that JUST DID 1 is always the wrong one here! And voicing out your opinions and retaliating in defense...these are human characteristics. It doesn't mean that these guys are automatically bad people, and we must go overboard with our reactions concerning their characters for God's sakes! And honestly I'd MUCH rather have people voicing out their opinions than go the diplomatic "It was a nice performance" way. This is a dance show, and it's all about learning the different dance styles, SHARING the knowledge and love for the art form. And I do see that in Jai. This guy is really serious about his profession! Sometimes too serious I think. πŸ˜†

And honestly, if the situation was reversed and Amar was the one giving out this criticism to Jai, I can 100% say with guarantee that Jai would've been totally humble and open about accepting this criticism. Only, I doubt we'd ever get to see such a situation because as I said, Jai is much more knowledgeable about dance than Amar. And much more a perfectionist with his technique also. Believe it or not, 'tis true. πŸ˜›

Seriously, I just wish people would give it a rest with all the over analyzing these guys' characters and all. None of them are bad people or anything like that. πŸ˜• What is up with the overreacting on this forum?

OMG where have you been all this time?!πŸ˜†
Agreed word to word! Now THIS is what I call constructively criticising without bashing any contestants or members!πŸ‘πŸ‘

Forget Jai, none of us liked to be shut up. Forget being shut up, he was dragged off stage when he was actually right! I honestly have nothing against Manish, he seems like a sweet guy but IMO that was rude and may have been done with the right intentions but let the guy speak for God's sake! He's had years of training under Shiamak and under Terence for a few months too..he knows his stuff and there is no doubt about that. Why is such a big deal made out of it? I love Amar, I think he is one of the best untrained dancers the show has seen, especially compared to other DID1 contestants like Sunita (not sure if anyone still remembers her?)

Btw, this forum is known for members overreacting. It's something people do for 'fun'. They tend to find fault in the littlest of things. After a while you become immune to it and learn to laugh at the poor arguments up for displayπŸ˜†

@CPR: Yes, for me Dharmesh is most definitely overrated! I'm not denying he's a good dancer, of course he is but you know when someone like Mayuresh comes to the dance floor, he almost always leaves his mark. I feel his performances are a lot more memorable than Dharmesh's yet he doesn;t get his due. Jai's choreographed for Enrique..that's says a lot in itself!

Punit was always said to be underrated in DID2 and I know he's a student of TL's academy but he lacks that X Factor for me. I want him to do well and really stand out but he fails to do that again and again. But anyway, what exactly were you referencing to?

I agree with pigbelly4myfeet (your username makes me laugh πŸ˜†) and hindu4lyf. What Jai said was not really a big deal. After seeing on TV last I was like, "What's the hungama everyone was talking about?" πŸ˜• I thought that Jai got angry and has a temper tantrum or something... I agree Jai may have said some things in the past that I do not agree with, but last night he was completely right. The only thing I did not like about what he said was how he kind of started to boast about himself and his training. Even with all that said, it was still not a big deal. I think Vandana and Amar's commenting extended it more, but I guess they got upset because they worked hard and did not like someone who is not a judge criticizing them.
