Mihirbhai let me simplify the definition of bashing... anything negative said about Geeta Ma, or DID 2 contestants this season = criticism...anything remotely negative said about Jai, Siddhehs, Prince etc = Bashing...

I know better than to expect everyone to applaud the same person I like, in fact I like the idea of discussing people's performances and seeing why they liked it and why maybe I didn't however bashing is VERY different to constructively criticising and is against IF rules..it's as simple as that. Hell, on the Geet forum topics get shut for criticising an actor's chapal! lol so you can imagine just how much liberty there is on this forum and it also explains why members constantly forget where to draw the line..as seen by this topic.

When an actor comes to IF, they expect that there will be people who say 'Mayuresh just didn't perform well today' or 'Parvez really disappointed' or 'Alisha lacks that confidence from DID1 days'..however what you don't expect is to be called a PIG and nor do you expect members to be discussing whether you're suffering from dementia or autism or any other mental condition. That is disgusting behaviour to say the least.

I didn't ask the member to come here and call some one names. Every member here is above 18 and fully responsible for what he or she says. I dont allow them to say something, neither do i disallow them, There have been name calling before, there will be name calling if I quite the forum now, I fail to understand how I am being the one who has been promoting it. Since the threads have been opened, i hardly posted except to remind people to stick to the ground rules.

I know you like constructive criticism, i myself have agreed with you in couple of other topics, why dont u start here too? Instead of complaining about negativity, who dont you set an example by providing constructive criticism here? Just because someone else is providing negative criticism or bashing, doesnt mean you cannot provide your constructive criticism.whats stopping you then?

Again, i cannot put a leash on the members or what they write, i dont want too either, thats not my job. Neither do I know what an actor expects to read on IF, nor do i think you know it, this is what you think you know . IF the "actors" read stuff they dont like they always have to option not to read, but you cannot tell people what to write and what not to.Respecting other members opinion, whatever it is, is also a part of the forum rule.

I'm reading between the lines? Well there isn't really much to read between the lines when you clearly state 'this thread is to bash DID1 people' now is there?

Members complain about the forum being negative when the same thing is repeated again and again and again. They complain when members openly bash their favourites or often as we see bash other members too. Can you blame them for thinking the forum is quite negative? A discussion can be had without members pulling one another's hair out and that's why I always encourage discussion instead of useless disclaimers that serve no purpose.

FYI I have given my two cents in your other topic. Hopefully I have done so without any name calling or bashing of contestants😊I don't wish to 'bash' people for the sake of bashing them, frankly unlike some that's not one of my hobbies.😊

I have the ability to respect other members opinion but like I've said, NOT when it's breaking the rules of the forum. Or do you expect me to respect the opinion that Siddesh and Jai may be suffering from autism?🤔
