πŸ˜ƒ It's always better to laugh off things which we can't defend...how can the rude and arrogant behavior of DID 1 contestatns possbily be defended? All one can do is laugh it off...πŸ˜ƒ

I think the forum is over the top and has quite a negative atmosphere. Very unappealing to anybody who has anything nice to say about season 1 as dancers.
As for the rudeness of the contestants, I wrote about it earlier in the topic..don't feel like repeating myself 😳

There's a rare kind of finesse to the way Mayuresh does these kind of aerial/pole waali acts...none of the others can even begin to touch him on this...and I loved the unique choreography of Siddesh's act...he pulled it off so well too.

Also WORD about Punit...I seriously do not get the hype about his contemporary technique...I've honestly never warmed up to it...he's a good dancer otherwise but seriously I don't enjoy his contemporary pieces much...I see faaar more finesse and grace to the way Mayuresh and Jai perform their contemporary acts...or even Amar from DID-2 for that matter is better than Punit...

The takkar was fabb...Vrushali-Kruti were both excellentπŸ‘πŸ‘

You guys said it all man! πŸ˜† Totally agree, word for word. Especially all the bolded bits. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Mayuresh was SOO freakin' awesome!! The song, the concept, the choreography, the emotions, and of course his AWESOME dance skills just made this such a memorable performance! πŸ‘Man, I don't even know HOW he did that! I'm just going to sit and appreciate how AWESOME this guy is again and again! Speechless. πŸ‘

And Siddesh too...I had my mouth wide open when the whole story of the dance suddenly switched from this nice love story to something totally opposite: hatred and violence!! 😲 The choreography and Siddesh both were just SO damn awesome that I didn't even notice when this HUGE transition happened! I mean two such extreme emotions shown so well...that too performed on lyrics, and together with that rope wala prop! πŸ‘ What an artist this guy is man! Again I was left speechless.

And Jai too, even though his performance didn't go as great as planned...he STILL made his impact! He still showed how awesome he is! And that hanging upside down on that ladder with just your toes! Speechless yet again. πŸ˜†

THIS is the impact these guys have on me! Leaving me speechless and just in so much awe. Even though I love and respect a lot of the dancers from Season 2 as well...honestly none of them have had THIS kind of an impact on me ever! The season 1 people are just too good man! They go above and beyond every time!

Word about Punit's solo as well. There is just something amiss about Punit's dancing that I can't quite put to words. I think it's because he restricts himself. He doesn't put in that heart and soul fully. Doesn't go all out. Hence, even though his technique and his moves are all fine...I still don't connect to his dancing. πŸ˜• I think Punit is better with lighthearted, slightly comedic stuff. Not super intense stuff that really requires you giving it your all into the performance.

Oh and WORD about DID 1 TOTALLY and COMPLETELY outshining DID 2 in Saturday's episode! πŸ‘

The dance ki takkar was awesome to watch too! πŸ‘ I love both Vrushali and Kruti. I personally preferred Vrushali's dancing because I think Vrushali has that poise and patience. I thought Vrushali had that gentleness to her performance. The sweetness required for a style like Bharatnatyam which is a God's dance. It's a prayer. I thought Kruti's performance indicated more competitiveness from her side. And classical dance forms aren't exactly competitive dances. Like for hip-hop and stuff you have dance battles and all that. Classical dances require that sweetness because you are showing devotion. I thought Kruti missed a few beats and lost her balance with a few poses as well which I am surprised the judges did not notice. And this was because she was way too excited while dancing. She needed more control. Which Kruti usually has because we have seen that Mahabharata performance of her's on DID 2...which was just splendid. I think Kruti was not in full control of her nerves in this performance. But she was awesome in the sense that she covered up her mistakes really well. And Kruti has greater speed and flexibility than Vrushali so that's also just as commendable.

Objectively speaking, I thought both the girls had their plus points so I think they were pretty much equal. Personally and subjectively speaking, I enjoyed Vrushali's dancing more. πŸ˜›πŸ˜† I think Vrushali was a more mature performer in this takkar. 😊

πŸ˜ƒ When it comes to good behavior I have no problems supporting Amar and Shakti...I didn't see them or anyone else from DID 2 fight against others or bash others in DID 2...πŸ˜ƒ waise how are you? πŸ˜›

Prince I know is. Siddesh is a pretty emotional guy IMO who just says what comes to his mind and a lot of times not in a nice way which he doesn't realize until much later. Putting all my bias aside for Jai, I can sometimes see why some of the things he says may not go down well with some people, but it shocks me how people can say Vrushali is rude and overconfident. I have now watched Vrush in season 1, LM, JDJ, and now this and not once have I gotten a rude vibe from her. She always takes the criticism well. I've also seen her give season 2 standing ovations when they perform well..ab aur kya karde? πŸ˜† Alisha, from what I gathered from the comments on this limelight video I haven't watched yet, said because Kruti slipped in a place Vrushali deserved to win the takkar. And then Siddesh is getting more backlash because he was talking to Remo and Shiamak after season 2 won because Remo asked him a question πŸ˜•πŸ˜†..did anybody hear what he said..but of course he must be making some arrogant remark..πŸ˜†
Waiting for your reply on the solos :)

@ Bold: Word.

Yes Prince and Siddesh are not the greatest personalities in terms of being humble and diplomatic. And we've seen that since DID 1 so I really don't see any change in these guys. So why is this bugging people NOW all of a sudden? πŸ˜• Because God forbid they formed an opinion against DID 2? And the oh so great D "Sir"?

I have seen Siddesh acting really fake in DID 1 and put on an act to like people. πŸ˜† But his emotions on Saturday after his performance were truly genuine. I have never seen Siddesh so humble. I think this guy has seen a lot of struggle and on Saturday he seemed genuinely humble to receive those compliments, especially from Remo.

With Prince and Jai too, I see confidence more than anything else. I will never in a million years understand on what basis people pick on Jai's character actually. This guy has received a LOT of criticism and he really has taken that criticism to heart many times. Yet he has worked SO hard and proved himself time and again. I see no arrogance in Jai whatsoever. It is all hard work and pure love for his profession. It's pure dedication.

I actually only see good qualities in these guys emerging from such a show. These qualities of loyalty and humility which we never saw in contestants like Siddesh and Prince earlier. I fail to see how people on this forum can see so much negativity and so decidedly deem these guys as "BAD". I only see positive traits and maturity in these contestants from when we saw them last. I really wish people on the forum would stop spoiling this show for me, because I think this is such a fun and positive concept.

@ Blue: Dude, Alisha was TOTALLY right! πŸ˜† Her loyalty for Vrushali aside, Alisha was totally correct that Kruti slipped. She lost balance not once but twice in the performance! She had to cover it up with another step hence it was hard to notice. But the whole point of those stationary postures is to hold them for a few seconds whereas Kruti could hardly stay still during that dance. πŸ˜† She was way too excited.

These guys are dancers themselves...so do they not have any right to express their opinions about the performances now? πŸ˜• Especially since with the dance ki takkar on Saturday, the judging was totally subjective. It was NOT objective by any means. The judges gave Kruti a higher score simply because of their own personal preference and liking.

Oh and I saw that post about Siddesh too. πŸ˜† Seriously a major case of overreacting, that one is. πŸ˜•πŸ˜† Truly people will look for ANYTHING...even make up their own imaginary conversations to declare these guys as "bad". Amazing. πŸ‘πŸ˜†

I just have so much respect for these two as dancers...and as overall artists. I've seen lot's of dancers perform and be really awesome and stuff, but there's very few who really make a mark. Really touch you and inspire you in some way. For me personally, there's very few dancers whom I can actually call artists. Just for their ability to express themselves SO well and really touch you on a deeper level somewhere. And their ability to really feel the music.

I've always wanted to see Siddesh and Vrushali perform together because both of these guys are just SO expressive while dancing! I've seen these guys together on Nachle Ve and stuff...but their performance today was just such a treat to watch! 😊

Basically, these two just have SO much personality while dancing. Even when they screw up...and they do screw up lot's of times (especially Vrushali)...πŸ˜†...they still entertain. They still make you want to watch them perform. And I just love the way they can hold these little moments through their dance. Like these clear, distinct moments. I find that SO genius. They are such intelligent, mature performers. Freakin' brilliant artists I think!

This was such a refreshing performance to watch. Full of confidence and personality. I don't think we've seen the Rumba style of dance before on DID...I might be mistaken here. But nevertheless...to me this was a very refreshing performance. Loved it!

So much respect for these guys as artists. 😊 Confession: I want to BE Vrushali. πŸ˜πŸ˜† As in, I want to be able to dance like this girl.

Sorry if I went a little over the top and carried away with my appreciation here. πŸ˜³πŸ˜† But I can't help it. These guys are too awesome. πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜›πŸ˜†

I too agree with U.Vrushali and Siddesh are just the best after Salman. My two most favourites. As they are just best in all forms.Whatever they take just give their jaan on that.Just what a true artists should be.

I loved Siddesh's last night's dance...his new creation.Just the best .The way he expressed all the feelings by dance and expression...what to say wah! Wah! Wah!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I never saw anything like that dance.Just awesome.Wish to see more.

Liked Vrushali's dance too.
😊
