^Thank you so much akanna! πŸ€—
LOL my knowledge of the South Indian Film Industry is pretty bad..I only know Rajnikant, Kamal Hasan, and Madhavan πŸ˜³πŸ˜†
She's very accomplished and in that tiny gilmpse she was amazing! Hehe he seemed to have been put there for the heck of it in that part..they should have put him somewhere else in the video πŸ˜†
EDIT:
You summed up my feelings on the Dharmesh-Prince face-off! I've been trying to figure out how to explain that πŸ˜† Prince is crisper and more robotic like it's required, while Dharmesh is smoother.

Even when they danced together in DID2, Prince was better!! Prince does the LnP moves with the correct crispness, aggression, and speed, and his robitic moves are better - stiffer as needed! Dharmesh has a smooth flow of moves rather than sharp and crisp, making it more of a Freestyle kind.. Now I know, I am destined to be doomed by many here now!! πŸ˜†

That is exactly how I saw it too but didn't know how to put in words so nicely like you have doneπŸ˜›. Prince's moves were crisp and Dharmesh's was flowly.
I love Shobana too πŸ˜› she is the best classical dancer I've seen πŸ˜›

Shobana is Padmini's brother's daughter, and she looks like Padmini a lot.. So both have acted the role of young and old for the same character in a Malayalam movie!! Shobana is well known for her expertise in Classical Dance, and runs her own Dance Institute in Chennai, and her Maya Ravan was a famous musical dance show.. She also won the National Award for Best Actress in 1994 for Manichitrathazhu (Malayalam) by Fazil. This same movie was remade in Hindi in 2007 by Priyadarshan as Bhool Bhulaiyaa - Vidya Balan did Shobana's role. She was awarded Padmashri title in 2006..

Here's the wiki page on Shobana:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shobana

Here are a couple of pictures of Shobana (I adore her, she is extra talented!!)

When i saw her in tthe video with SD and i fell in love with her!! she is extremely beautiful and Talented! sooo graceful and love her expressions! i saw all her videos on YT!!

@ Bold: Great way to say it Choco! Prince and D are just very different type of hiphop dancers. Prince is a pure robotic/pop&locker, while D is fluid and smooth (more lyrical). ⭐️

You are most welcome, choco!! πŸ€— Thank you for the last part too! πŸ˜ƒ

Looks like you know those (from South Indian Films) who have made a name in Bollywood too! πŸ˜ƒ all three names you have here were/are popular in Hindi movies too.. There are so many extra talented people in South, it's just that they like to focus either only in their own regional language or only in the South.. Asin is another one, again from Kerala but got popular as an actress in Tamil.. Revathy is one who has acted with Salman Khan in Love Love Love, which was the remake of Malayalam Kilukkam - Revathy did the same role as Malayalam in Hindi.. Then Sridevi, Prabhudeva, Hemamalini, Rekha, Jayapradha, Vidya Balan, and all are from South too.. So are the Bollywood singers ARR, Yesudas, Usha Uthup, KK, Shankar, Chitra, SPB, Anuradha, Sujatha, et al... btw, popular Director Priyadarshan is also from South - started in Malayalam, moved to Tamil and then Hindi.. His Hindi movies are mainly remakes of big hit Malayalam movies!! Some are his own and some are of others, though he doesnt acknowledge the source.. Santosh Sivan is also from South.. Anyway, I dont want to keep going, but if anyone has questions about South Film Industry, you can always ask me! πŸ˜ƒ

Yes, they should have put SD in some other part of that video! Yikes!!! He ruined Shobana's part - no one needed to be with her, as she is such an amazing dancer!!!

Thank you! πŸ˜ƒ

Shobana is one of the best Bharatanatyam dancers in India.. She has so much stage presence too, and I dont even blink when I watch her performances on stage!! I really wish to see Kruti getting to Shobana's level in BN, and I think she will... πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you bc! πŸ˜ƒ Her Ramayana musical is called Maya Ravan -- DVDs are available for it, but no need to purchase them as all parts are available to watch online... She is an excellent dancer, beyond words, cant put her talent in just words! One of the prides of Kerala!! ⭐️
