Prateek Swaika, the business tycoon- recently listed in the top 20 billioniare of India by the most prestigious biz magazine Business Globe' is busy celebrating his super success bash in the aspicious occasion of his birthday, though the night suddenly turns out to be his worst nightmare as his beloved daughter Trisha Swaika goes missing in the dark of the night. Speaking volumes of the theme plot in its pilot episode itself, Life Ok's new suspense thriller Laut Aao Trisha premeires to a promising start. The hour long premeire episode presented forth a refreshing storyline in TV, which is otherwise ruled prominently by cliched Saas-Bahu shows. Moreover, withstanding to drop out the idea of traditional family lifestyle, Swaika family is aptly showcased as the regular sophisticated business family which is a great plus for the natural feel in the script.
Talking about the plot, it is played very well with no over-the-top stretching, the sequences are tightly executed and the switching from present to past and again back to present is noteworthy. The story pace is fast with easy establishment of characters, leaving behind the TV trend of grandintroduction sequence, keeps audiences intrigued throughout. Obviously, drama quotient is very much visible but is easily by passable. Coming to the performances by actors, Jay Kalra playing Prateek is fantastic and does his part with natural ease. Complimenting him is Rajeshwari Sachadeva who plays his sister Lavanya. Rajeshwari delivers the balanced view of a modern mother. Both the actors are absolute with portraying emotions. Bhagyashree playing Trisha's mother is also good though there is room for improvement on her part as TV soaps require a different sort of skills than cinema. The family chemistry needs time to establish itself so does the chemistry between Jay and Bhagyashree.
Meanwhile, Eijaz Khan as the ruthless ACP is remarkably good and as always he knows his character well. Young lot of actors need a lot of improvement in acting, especially, Nalini Negi though beautiful, bubbly and suiting character of a young teenager as Trisha but she needs to work hardest to get into the skin of the lead character. In technical departments, the show is satisfactory as we can hope it to develop further with time. In conclusion, the first episode of Laut Aao Trisha had so much to show and more than that it had a lot more for audiences to understand and expect, the best part being the fluent flow of thrill and suspense. Lastly, a point to be noted here is the hints of inner business politics of Swaika family and probable sexual conflicts as well. Given that, the series is an adaptation of the blockbuster American series Missing', the expectations are indeed going up and the show shows signs of meating into all. Keep watching Laut Aao Trisha for a fresh doze of entertainment. For more analysis as such, let's get bizzin!
