This is probably going to be the best show ever for me. As its the 1st show that I am watching, that said the truth about the perfect man Ram and how some people consider him. Good king, good leader but bad and weak husband and no wife should ever have a weakling of a husband as him. The truth is often seen as an insult to some but no matter how much 1 wants to white wash Ram into the perfect god, human he is imperfect coz of what he had done to Sita. Wished they had said that Sita wasn't the epitome of a perfect woman either that would have just have made me love this show even more lol. Bt now I presume that this scene is to a hint of the future storyline of the show and that sita is Lajwanti, sundar- is Ram and Jamaal is Raavan. All I can hope for is that lajwanti doesn't turn into that loser Sita and doesn't lose her spunk really that title song that plays for this couple the lyrics 'u are my master and I am your slave' or something like that I cnt remember scares me abit now that they the Ram and Sita of the show. But I have 1 question the sort of hatred that muslim's around the world face coz of a few inhuman ppl who use their religion as a tool to cause harm. How correct is it that a muslim is shown as the main bad guy especially in the context of the show? So far what I have seen of the show they have shown that both the hindu's and the muslims are bad. But it would have been interested to see a show were the villian wasn't a muslim raavan up against what I presume if the jodi of perfection by hindu standards. No chance for ppl like me to ship the baddies with the leads lol I dnt like this I find lajwanti and Jamaal darn hot and now I find they made him into the ultimate badder Raaven darn shame lol. and thank god that we dnt have fantatics watching the show on the forum I bet that they would even have a problem with Raavan being a muslim. But really kudos to the cvs they truly got some balls to have put such a scene in the show with those very direct dialogues. Fingers crossed that this show doesn't go downhill and they dnt go mad and lose the plot and turn this show pathetic. Have seen a lot of shows where the writers due to trp struggles just lose the plot or some who just turn mad and dnt wana to see how their audience sees their master piece. Btw do u guys know who the writers and dialogue writers of the show are? I like to torture the cvs when I like a show. And really getting Jamaal to say srk dialogues from OSO is just not on cvs I need to tell them that lol. Bt otherwise extremely hot dialogues from Jamaal he craxks me up. Also if fans love the show I suggest u guys drill it into their head that the aim of the show should be is to show that people are bad human not that if u a hindi u ultimately good or if u muslim u ultimately bad. And fans dnt take it for granted that that know this if the writers change or the writers get bored and tired of writing for the show they will forget the aim of the show.

I completely agree but the story is itself like this It is a peom written by some great writer actually we had this poem in our college so I know yes it is like Ram Ravan and Sita but a slight difference Here Sita will atlast change Ravan acc to the original story the girl been sold to Jamaal and he will take her with him and they start living together but after some days Sid will find her and bring her but ppl wont accept her and ask sid to leave her bt he wont leave eventhough lajjo pretend to be happy with sid her heart will start thinking about the other part of the country (Jamaal) something like that I think one movie also came in the name of Jamaal Peshawari very old movie but this story and actors really fab

The cvs are handling a sensitive subject well.. the mention of Ram Sita seperation the other day was clear indication of Lajo Sundar coming seperation..we hope its dealt with nicely.. laajo reforms jamaal & is accepted back by Sundar & his family
The title song that plays is the romantic imagination of the lover.. nothing serious about it.

I had posted earlier that this was the original short story, Lajwanti - http://www.sikh-history.com/literature/stories/lajwanti.html

Another viewer had written about two movies, one in which the husband does accept her finally after she returns from a long sojourn across the border though he had initial misgivings, and a second movie wherein the woman is forcibly converted but never accepted and is turned in by her own son that she is not Muslim which leads to the woman ultimately committing suicide. Hopefully the soap follows the storyline of the first movie.
