Dutta & Naku
On the road
So starts their journey in the jeep.. politely he does looks up to her , but finds her eyes lowered and distant. In silence Dutta looks at the forest he leaves behind. But the day dreaming about her he carries in his heart and mind. Dutta dreams.. if only before Baji had arrived .. he would have walked towards Naku and held her hand.. she would have in shyness freed her hand from his.. but then, they would have turned from each other in dissension! Dutta stops dreaming and gives her quiet sitting figure before him in the jeep, a sided look.. but she looks serious and absolutely silent.
Night falls as a song plays,"sau gaya ye jahan".Baji continues to drive Silence remains between Dutta and Naku.. I wonder if words through open mouth are even necessary for them. As in this episode Dutta constantly keeps stealing gazes at her.. but instead of speaking, both have visitations of images of times spent together...
Baji who drives them home, senses a bond between them and his face lights up with dimples all the way. Naku recalls how he saved her , how he bought her gifts , and how he lauded her courage when she first came to his house.. the journey home and the silent night , brings back memories of her to him too ..how he had asked her what are you made of? and she had giggled and replied, brown soil, how he had said, she looked tiny but talked sense.. Dutta folds his hands and presses his mouth on his knuckles. Naku recalls the tender moments of closeness to him, stitching his kurta button, applying haldi on his face. Dutta recalls his engagement, his wedding, then the adversity of his marriage and the fact that Naku had helped Supriya to ditch him at the altar. He ponders on the past how he married her at gunpoint, and in anger he turns his face away.. Naku recalls the traumatic ceremony. Dutta recalls she stopped him from drinking poisoned milk in the temple, how she tied her chunni on his wounded palm.. he shifts his position, and his eye falls on his bandaged hand.. and the jeep speeds on..
But soon stops at a tea stall to refresh the driver and passengers. Dutta stands outside the jeep, rests his back against.. close to the seated Naku.. so close yet so far. none speaks. He goes to get her tea, gives it to her.. but she doesn't drink it.. he recalls how she waited in the forest for him to eat the fruit first.. so he sips his tea and she sips too..hence the silence between them spoke to each other.. and so do the stolen glances they exchange with each other.. so this then is their bond. Effortless beyond words but based on an unspoken emotional bond.
Baji, too keeps a constant happy check on them by driving and giving contented dimpled smiles at them.. and so their journey goes on without any dialogues..
Patil Nivas
Decorations of the house are in full swing. Kishore avidly supervises them. The evil trio loathe all the fuss over Dutta and wife's arrival. They worry about what might have happened between their brother and Naku and that new conspiracies have to put in place.In the kitchen Babi is busy preparing food and overseeing the table arrangement. Aye Sahib is delighted to see Babi's happiness.
On the road
It's day break and the distance towards Patil Nivas lessens and Baji alerts the BG s to be ready for some big time celebration when they get home.
Ahead comes a road procession with worshippers surrounding a goddess's palanquin, drums beat , flags fly and worshippers dance! A hand carrying a platter goes around distributing sacrament to the worshippers in the crowd.. as they walk along. Subu Laxmi is introduced to viewers. She stops to worship the deity in the palanquin and then moves, her attractive eyes look around and wait..
Patil Nivas
Aye Sahib much to her daughters further annoyance, gifts a new sari , and new clothes for Sethji.. on the occasion of Bhau's return.
Ganapat returns to cast a cloud over Naku's happiness. he arrives home drunk calling for Dutta Bhau . he is accompanied by creditors.. who relate that he had borrowed a vast amount of money under the reference of being Dutta Bhau's son in law. Ganpat complain the monies given by Bhau to him, for displacing his daughter was not enough and it was all spent.. he needs fresh supply of money! Aye Sahib and family are astounded by his unacceptable behaviour. An embarrassed Babi, takes him to the out house and warns him ,she wants no trouble from him in Naku's married life. She informs him Naku has been accepted in the household as Bhau's wife. He is well pleased, and ventures to apologize to Aye Sahib.
On the road
The procession continues and Baji's jeep arrives but it's way is blocked. Both the jeep ahead and the white car behind carrying BGs brake. Baji as an irate driver yells , oyee get out of the way! Dutta peers from behind.. checking what the blockade was? Baji honks, and leans out of his seat and yells, hey let us go ! and moves the jeep closer into the procession, honking and blaring! but they don't move and Baji orders kale to get out and check. Naku too looks ahead and Dutta looks ahead suspiciously. Suddenly from nowhere this well dressed good looking woman turns up from the side of the jeep! and greets Baji. He shuns her , yeah yeah , now tell them to get out of the way. Dutta looks at her with contracted eyes. She requests Baji, Sahib just for a little while park your cars on the side of the road.. let the Devi pass, they are all worshippers.. Naku looks at her keenly. Baji says, I don't think so ! and she smiles and heads to Dutta at he rear of the jeep where he sits, Saab why don't you come too! and he looks at her..Baji turns his head back to Dutta , no Bhau , you're not going! you've just come out of danger! so let it be he says firmly. But the woman comes persuades Dutta , Saab may the lord grant all your wishes.. may you both be blessed as a couple! and that has an impact on Dutta.. as he gives Naku a sided look. Baji gets impatient and waves his hand. Dutta says, Baji, home is nearby isn't it? so stop the cars for a while.. the woman Subu Laxmi smiles.. and adds quickly , here take the sacrament.. and Naku looks at the little pot of what looks like milk.. Naku is the first to cup both her palms to receive it.. and the woman pours it out of a scoop spoon... then Subu Laxmi turns to Dutta , you to take Saab..he hesitates, and then holds his cupped palm out and she pours into his hands too. Subu Laxmi looks at their palms with satisfaction on her face. Naku drinks it first then wipes her hands on her head.. Dutta looks at Naku , while Subu Laxmi waits patiently ... till Dutta too drinks it and wipes his palm at the back of his head. Naku smiles.. probably is happy Saab has shown religious reverence ..or does she gives Subu Laxmi a friendly look? episode ends .. Hamlet53 18.3.14

Precap: Naku kidnapped .. Dutta's puts into action his love for Naku..
It's a pacey episode.. which gives a bird's eye view of tasha's past relationship , the present scenario that their marital and emotional status faces.. and a peek also into what the immediate future holds for them.. that, which will have an impact on their distant future.
Another fantastic cameo , Anna's wife Subu Laxmi is introduced.
The episode continues to hold Tasha FBs to substitute and reiterate their nonspeaking bond.. personally I am sick to death of their flash backs.. even though I know it's necessary for both of them to make up their minds regarding each other..
