Quite on the contrary, I find Kabir very warm and supportive. It is Suraj whom I find very cold and entitled.
I remember a few episodes back, him commenting to a servant that "sab apni 'jagah' bhool rahe hai." In yesterday's episode, he tore papers and threw on Kabir's friends face. He has often spoken about 'jagah' which I understand as a softer term for 'aukad' to Kabir. He seems to have a very classist mentality. He can warn people or even argue things out with them but he would rather humilate them. Even when he visited Kabir's house and his sisters were not willing to have water there, he had nothing to say to them. Sometimes, when Kesar says something, he does follow her lead to do some good actions but I think he's an adult and he should be having some standards of his own by now.
Suraj did support Kesar in a recent episode by offering his room to her. But earlier, when Kabir pointed out that he does not support her unconditionally, it was true. He used to support her only when she had proven enough that she was correct.
Whether Kabir would take a stand for Kesar in future if Shakuntala becomes her saas and if Kabir is really her son remains to be seen. But in recent episodes, Kabir has stood up for Kesar several times. Despite being cruelly taunted for being an outsider and being reminded of his 'jagah' to the extent of even being reciprocated for a respectful 'Jay Ambe' greeting with hostility, he spoke up for Kesar not once but many times. He stood against the entire family, after seeing that Suraj wasn't supporting Kesar and backed off respectfully when Ambika discouraged him.
Also, Kabir does scrutinize Suraj's actions. In fact he appreciated it when Suraj warned Kesar against Hetal. He also apologized to Kesar when he believed he'd spoken much against Suraj.
In the episodes of their initial meetings, Kabir was trying to be friendly with Suraj. It was Suraj who gave him clear signs to stay away, the reason for which was not clear, so I believe it's again the classist attitude. If I was in Kabir's place, I would also have suspicion about Suraj's general attitude after being at the receiving end of such behaviour from him.
These are my views.
I totally agree with your views on Suraj here.
In fact, it was after the episode when Ambika fainted that I stopped watching the show altogether because I could see the makers blackwashing him to highlight Kabir.
But this post wasn't about Suraj but Kabir.
When it comes to Kesar, I don't think Kabir and Suraj should be compared. Kabir and Kesar have known each other since childhood. Kids form friendship innocently and over the years their relationship has matured where they know each other inside out. Obviously Kabir wouldn't trust an outsider over Kesar and fight for her.
Whereas Suraj has met Kesar recently. He has agreed to marry her but he's yet to know her completely so he can have that same amount of faith in her. Not to mention he returned at the exact moment when Hetal was questioning Kesar and Kabir's relation.
Yes, Suraj loves Ambika and wants to fulfill her oath. But that doesn't mean he wouldn't have preferences of his own. If we expect him to love/trust Kesar just because he is betrothed to her - that would be unreasonable.
And coming to Suraj greeting him and him not reciprocating, you cannot fight with someone 24/7 and then expect them to be cordial because it's a function.
Suraj in no way is compelled to keep any relation with Kabir.
Even in real life, our friends and partners do not get along all the time and they keep their distance so that peace and harmony is maintained.
Had Kabir done all these, I would have no issue with his character.
At this point, Suraj has so many issues. But that doesn't absolve Kabir from his actions and personally, I don't like him for those traits.

Suraj is arrogant jerk who gets easily influenced by others.. his reactions are almost like a robot 🤖🤖
Kabir is unemployed most of the time... and is oversmart.
Both of these idiots mostly forget to wear button on their shirts
And because of these two idiots I can't get any scenes of queen 😞👑😞😭
Apt analysis.

It does seem like that.
I don't think the actor playing Kabir is very popular. Although I might be wrong.
But on YouTube, I have seen more people favoring Suraj.
So, let's see...

I understood your post was about Kabir which is why I presented my views on him at length in my previous post. You used Suraj as a comparison for Kabir's evaluation. I did the same.
I too initially thought that Suraj developed an issue with Kabir because he came at a point when Hetal Kaki tried to manipulate him. But later looking at his attitude with different people, I felt that he has a standoffish nature in general.
I guess you've missed some of the episodes because not only at the function, several times from the beginning Kabir tried to befriend Suraj. A couple of instances I can remember offhand are when Suraj returned from abroad and during the Darshan episode, when Suraj visited his place and when Kabir would go to Suraj's place to train Darshan.
I understand everyone has a right to choose whom they want to be friends with. But a small courteous acknowledgement towards his future wife's friend when he's making the first move? Just a small nod towards someone who's been unconditionally supporting his future wife through thick and thin and saving her life on multiple occasions? Or at least not outright humiliating him by seeing through him, calling him a stalker or reminding him of his 'place'?
I don't expect Suraj to fall head over heels for Kesar, in fact not even to prefer her. I totally empathised with him when he told his cousins that he barely knows her to love her. But not even trying to understand his future wife? Twisting her arm when she was bleeding and not feeling it was wrong, let alone speaking against it when she was slapped to the point that she was bleeding? Siding with the woman who slapped her? These were instances demanding humanity more than love.
Also in my opinion, I don't think he's being blackwashed to highlight Kabir. That isn't required because Kabir was always meant to be the hero of this show. Right since Kesar was a baby and not even adopted by Ambika, it was young Kabir protecting her. So Kabir has been the more prominent character since episode 1 itself, it's not an afterthought of the makers.

So, let's see...
Himanshu Soni playing Kabir is very popular eversince he played the role of Lord Buddha. There are pages dedicated to him as Kabir and his Jodi with Kesar on Instagram. Even Kesar fans support her couple with Kabir on insta. Both Himanshu and Navika (Kesar) keep sharing about this support on their stories daily. Himanshu is also remembered a lot for playing Shivay in Neeli Chhatriwale, Lord Ram in Luv Kush and he is also popular for some thriller show on YouTube .
On YouTube, followers support Suraj because they want to see Ambika's sankalp come true. This led to theories of Kabir actually being Suraj and exchanged at birth. Many even suggested that they wouldn't have minded Himanshu being the lead had he been in the role of Suraj. They are more attracted to the character than the actor.

I didn't, but let's move forward.

You are right about that because I stopped watching since the engagement episode.

Agree on the courtesy part but not so much on humiliation. Because that goes back to my original comment. Kabir's protective nature is not the problem here. In fact, I appreciate that. But if you keep rubbing it on someone's face, forget someone as classist as Suraj, even a normal person would get even by returning the favor when they get such opportunity.

Again, I don't care about the leads.
And yes, maybe Kabir was supposed to be the lead. But let's be honest, it's not realistic for a kid to save another infant and how Kabir keeps saving Kesar all the time. ITV has a tendency to show extreme goodness in its leads which in turn start looking fake. Also, they have a tendency to blackwash the third person. It's not necessary but that's the norm here so that the audience rally behind their too good to be true leads.
If both the parties were equal, it would have been difficult to choose and ITV writers aren't adept at handling such delicate plots.
Look at a certain show of SP. They introduced a cameo who got more popular than the protagonist and then the makers made a mess out of everyone to highlight their hero. Yet, apart from the lead actor's fans, no one is really concerned about him and now they are gonna take a leap.
So I guess, now you would understand my actual point.

Oh, I didn't know that.
Thanks for the information.
