| | | Mail this Article | Print this Article | Rate this Article | | | | | Kavita Shyam | Sudha Chandran is back to Balaji Telefilms after one year. This time around she will dance to a special Janmashthami episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Sudha will be enacting the role of Radha in the show. Her dance will be choreographed by Habiba Rehman and she will be given a traditional ghagra-choli look designed by Nim Sood. Lavish sets, on the lines of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, will be designed for the sequence to be shot on September 8.
According to a source, "The production house is working day and night to give it a grandiose look. It will be given a Saawariya kind of look and feel. Balaji designer Nim Sood is in the process of finalising Sudha's look and costume. Besides dancing on this show, Sudha will soon take up a new Balaji show."
When contacted, Sudha said, "I have just returned from Chennai and will get to know the details of my performance on the show soon. It was Ekta's idea to have me dance on the show. My performance in the show will showcase my talent on Ekta's best show. It will be a solo performance by me on Madhuban Mein Jo Kanhaiyan… song where I will play Radha. I would love to do anything with Balaji but it has to be an author-backed role. Talks are on for a daily show with Balaji."
Says Vikas Gupta, creative head of Kyunki…, "It will be a special episode with the entire Virani family. It will be a good amalgamation of songs, dance, lavish sets and an ace dancer like Sudha Chandran. She loved the idea of doing something special for the show. She is best remembered as Mayuri, the amazing dancer."
