Thank you for your kind words, Radhika 😊

Sigh, it’s crazy that Ekta has rebooted another one of her original iconic shows and it’s already even worse than the original one ended up becoming, which is saying something. Original Kyunki ran for what 8/9 years?! They had a good run until they could but then the refusal to end the show killed it as it was being milked for the sake of it but there was nothing worth watching anymore. This one is a nuisance from the get go, not only because the already convoluted plot doesn’t make sense but because it also manages to have some of the original cast members and is still a downer.

I believe that Ronit not being a part of this season is a bad thing for sure but it’s also probably owing to Ronit himself stating in some interview that he doesn’t want to do TV shows for a while now, not unless he’s really inspired by the show/plot. He dodged a bullet there tbh.

The Noyna thing is just blah… because honestly I don’t understand what exactly is it about Mihir that women end up being so obsessed and crazy about him. It’s like he’s their last hope for repopulating the earth or something as most men have perished and of those that remain only a few are capable and fertile enough to produce a progeny.

As for Pari, the girl doesn’t even inspire hatred or fear or even anger in me tbh, I don’t know if it’s just the acting or how the script is structured or the execution or simply because her motivations and more importantly her actions simply don’t seem to matter. She’s quite literally a forced out of nowhere manufactured nuisance maker who comes across as trying too hard. What’s more absurd is that they will show her teaming up with a woman to destroy the lives and marriage of her adoptive parents just to make it seem like she’s this devious, twisted little spoilt brat and she’s going to fail, as we know is inevitable; but the premise itself is so absurd it makes no sense!

Mihir has 4 biological children, 4 adopted children, 1 biological son is dead and that’s just his kids! He’s also got grandkids from nearly 5 out of his 8 kids! Then there are the spouses of those kids. MULTIPLE SPOUSES OF ALMOST FOUR OF THEM! And he has 2 aunts, probably 2 uncles alive, multiple cousins and a huge extended family beyond that with nieces, nephews and their kids as well. That’s not a dreamboat by any stretch of imagination no matter how rich, famous or handsome that’s a Titanic of nightmares who comes along with a boatload of people who are gonna be a package deal if you enter in a relationship with him!

Even if he were a widower, a divorcee; any woman would think a million times before committing to him no matter what; but here he already has a wife who for reason beyond comprehension has not yet went running for the hills despite everything and Noyna is supposed to think she will marry this senior citizen and it’s going to be her greatest accomplishment!

Truly, I would love to know what are the people who come up with this plot smoking, because it honestly is a marvel that none of them seems to realise how absurd this show is.
