So KB's dad and Mr.Raizada were friends( they have to be close enough to know each other and decide a match between their young children). Mr.Raizada is the richest man in Karachi and if KB's dad was friends with him, he has to pretty wealthy. So why does Mogar aunty keep being bitter about being married ? Surely she was not married to a poor family? Why is she here after widowhood?

I don't think it has to be that Mogar's husband was rich as well. Mr. Raizaada could have been rich already and Mogar's husband wasn't, but they were still friends. Or maybe Mr. Raizaada got rich later. Heck, it's ITV. It could be that Mogar is bitter because she wanted to marry Mr. Raizaada, but ended up married to a Sahani and now she hates that she didn't have the rich lifestyle.

Mogar did mention in some episode that she's angry at lalaji for marrying her off to a small house at a young age.... Mr. Raizada may have met her husband through lalaji as lalaji seems to be close to Mr. Raizada. Or its possible that kiran's dad was also friends with Mr. Raizada.

I think Lalaji and Mr. Raizada were friends and KB's father met Raizada sahab through him, as I'm sure he wasn't rich. Mogar once said ki "Choti si umar me chote se ghar me vyah kara diya tha" so her husband wasn't rich.

Mogar was married at a young age to a not-so-well family and widowed early too, as evident coz she does seem to be in her 40s. My take on this is, that possibly her in-laws must have accused her for their son's death, and additionally, especially because she has a daughter (a boj according to social norms) and their circumstances were not such that they could take care of the two, they may have mistreated them, or left them in pitiable conditions and Lalaji and Brij intervened and got them home to the Sahanis to support them. Now she wants a HAQ in the house for her and her daughter at the cost of their own children - Uday and Amrit, hence keeps creating issues for them + Radha, who has found herself on the hitlist too.

As for the marriage thing, maybe all three were friends, irrespective of social status, and since Lalaji is the one who must have introduced them to each other, he is following through the promise made by Kiran and Randheer's dads.
