In spite of a strong Ekta Kapoor backing, Balaji telefilms produced venture, 'kya hua tera vaada' is not getting the much adulated response from the audience. Right from the launch of the television show last year, in 2012, the show has not been able to garner the much required TRP's from the audience.

Rumors are also doing the rounds stating that a new show, called ' Maharana Pratap' is all geared to take the place and slot of the ongoing Balaji productions.

The serial started well with Mona Singh and Pradeep Singh, playing the role of a perfectly married couple, with their three children, living in suburban Mumbai. Although the story started a real slow, the story still managed to increase its TRP's with the entry of Mouli Ganguly, who brought in the twist of the second woman, in the show!

Moving ahead though, the story slacked in story line and required a time leap of 10 years, exiting and introducing new characters, to fuel some energy. Despite new characters, by way of grown up children and their love interests, including the much loved Hiten Tejwani, for Mona's newbie partner, the show failed to pull the TRP's.

The TRP chart already had the downfall lined, when the morphed MMS video of Mona Singh, started doing the rounds, plummeting the TRP's of the serial to all time high. Now that much has been cleared about the morphed video, will the serial manage to push theTRP's back?
