Mohit Malhotra an Indian model and actor.

Hailing from New Dehli, Mohit is the younger brother of Himmanshoo Malhotra. He graduated from Delhi University with honors and also attended the University of California, Berkeley. Mohit attended Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business, to obtain an MBA but left the school prior to completing his degree in order to pursue his passion for acting.

Career

Mohit started his television career on Spitsvilla 2, a reality show on MTV India, and later landed a lead role on Star Plus' Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke playing the character of Birju. His role in Mitwa led to his nomination for Best Fresh New Face (Male) at the 10th Indian Telly Award. After Mitwa, Mohit rejoined Star Plus on its show Sasural Genda Phool playing the role of Sid, a model, as the love interest for Ragini Khanna's character. Mohit has appeared in numerous print ads and television advertisements Due to the number of advertisement Mohit has appeared in, he is considered highly popular in South East Asia. In 2011, he appeared with Yashashree Masurkar in Nachle Ve, Season 3.

Mohit also appeared in Colors TV's Anhoniyon Ka Andhera, Sahara One's Haunted Nights, and had a performance on an episode of Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. In 2011, he was casted in Bade Acche Lagte Hain as Kartik Sharma alongside seasoned actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. Recently, he joined the cast of Kya Huaa Tera Vaada portraying the character of Vihaan.

Mohit malhotra in Mitwa has been seen as Birju an, 18 year old boy. Birju is the son of Satpal and Chitra and has been brought up by Kanta as her own son. He lives in a small town of low caste people in Ambakhedi. Birju has boundless love & respect for Kanta & wishes to remove her worries & troubles. Mohit Malhotra in Kya Hua Tera Vaada

Mohit Malhotra has bagged yet another role in Ekta Kapoor's show Kya Hua Tera Vaada on Sony TV. Mohit says, "I play the prominent role of Vihaan who is the love interest of Anika (Neelam Sivia). While Karthik of Bade Acche was a middle class boy trying to balance his family and work, Vihaan is an intense guy who knows what he wants from life. The fact that he pays attention to Anika when all other girls in Australia are dying to be with him shows his mindset that he really loves Anika. He is a very respectful businessman.

" Vihan's uncle Jatin (Hiten Tejwani) had assured him a job in his news channel. Jatin wants Vihan to take up a high and respected position in the organization but Vihan wants to start from the basic level. Jatin will then make him work under the supervision of Bulbul (Sargun Mehta). Vihaan will fall in love with Mona Singh's daughter Bulbul, essayed by Sargun Mehta too. Hence there will be a love triangle formed similar to the initial concept of the show.
