Sachin Shroff who is presently seen in Imagine's recently launched show Rakt Sambandh will soon be entering COLORS and Rose Audio and Visual Pvt Ltd's Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai.
He will hereafter play the role of Shreekant Kulkarni which was till now played by Hemant Thatte.
We hear that the channel and production house took an overnight call to replace Hemant Thatte, as he was apparently throwing tantrums, and never reported to the sets at the specified call time.
A little birdie tells us, "Hemant was shooting for the show till yesterday and there was no hint of him getting replaced. All of a sudden, the change happened and Sachin Shroff was finalized. He was asked to start shoot from today".
When contacted, Hemant Thatte confirmed the news and said, "Yes, it is true that I am not part of the show now. I really have no idea as to what happened. I was shooting till yesterday. Incidentally, I went to the office of the production house yesterday evening, when they told me that I was getting replaced".
Elaborating on the reason given, Hemant told us, "I was myself surprised when they told me that I was taken off as I was throwing tantrums. I really do not know what was in their minds".
Ask him about Sachin Shroff taking his place, and Hemant quips, "I am very happy that Sachin has bagged the role. He is a very close friend of mine and I am happy for him. As far as my future goes, I am very positive and I very well know where I stand. People from the industry who have worked with me earlier are also shocked to know that I have been removed from the show, that too owing to attitude problems".
We tried contacting Sachin Shroff, but he remained unavailable.
We also tried calling Producer Shrishti Arya and even sent her a text message, but we did not get any revert.
We hear that Sachin has started shoot and his entry sequence will be aired in Monday's episode..
