Zee TV's popular daily Kumkum Bhagya (Balaji Telefilms) is undergoing major changes in terms of its ongoing storyline.

The show has recently introduced Ruchi Savarn as a parallel lead and now we hear, another actress is set to join the cast very soon.

Talented actress Urmila Sharma, who is known for her role in Star Plus' popular daily Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) is set to enter Kumkum Bhagya to play a key role.

Our source informs us, "Urmila has been roped in to play Disha's (Ruchi Savarn) bua. She will be seen playing a grey character on the daily and bring forth new twist and turns in the story.

When we contacted Urmila, she confirmed the news with us.

She has already started shooting for the show and her entry is expected to air next week.

Ohh, OK. TFS.

So this gray character will probably turn into total dark negative once Aliya meets her and gives her money to kill Disha.

Looks like Purab-Disha story will be given footage and more screen space for a while so that ppl in KKB can be used in KDB..
Btw its still KKB only, with one parallel lead, 2 villains had to come along..writers dont give up their craze for negative characters..

I'm glad there's new characters and they're focusing on other characters and their love stories. That's sounds fair to me:))!

Just wondering during last couple of years did original leads Abhigya/Tisha actually get major screen space? πŸ˜• Except for sub-plots where they are made to run for their life in jungles or Lovanvla kind of intense re-union kind of random episodes, did they??

Tanu, Aliya, Nikhil, Mithali even kidnappers, contract killers, random goons mostly occupy screen space than the original leads, that's the specialty of KKB, so it sort of indicates what impact new entries can do πŸ˜†

Yeah, their screen space was compromised earlier too but they had good romantic scenes..now with munni-pragya confusion I'm not able to enjoy the scenes & moreover majority of them are being shot using a body doubleπŸ₯±...& With these extra characters it will reduce further...

There is no balance in the show1 positive character was introduced with 2 negative ones...With these new villains atleast they should show less of tanu. Purab getting a girl is good πŸ‘πŸΌ...
