Hello Everybody,

Welcome to the appreciation thread of Vin Rana(Vinay Rana).

Let's join together to appreciate the wonderful actor who plays the role of Purab Khanna in Kumkum Bhagya.

He wasn't the first choice. He replaced an actor who portrayed the role wonderfully for 2 long years and yet managed to get the recognition with his awesome performance. It did not take him long to get into the character of Purab.

Though, it looks like he portrays Purab's role effortlessly, I believe it wouldn't have been possible without his handwork. If you feel so too join me in appreciating him.

Personal & Professional Life:

Vinay Rana was born on 16 December 1986. He was brought up in Delhi.

Vin Rana married Nita Sofiani, an Indonesian model, in February 2016. Nita is an actress and has won Miss Earth Indonesia.

Vin made his debut in the show "Ek Hasina Thi" but he is well known for his role in the super hit show Mahabharat where he portrayed the character of Nakul.

Vin played the role Malay Mittal in Zee TV's Vishkanya...Ek anokhi prem kahani before grabbing the role of Purab In kumkum Bhagya.

Apart from modelling and his work in Indian shows, Vin has played various roles in Indonesian shows like The new eat bulaga Indonesia, Aladin&Alakadam, etc...

Vin is a fitness freak who likes to maintain his body healthy and fit.

1) Please remember the thread is only for the appreciation for the actor and his role in show.

2) Follow Kumkum Bhagya Forum and IF rules.

3) Bashing is strictly Prohibited. However, constructive criticism is allowed.

4) Discussions about Vin works other than Kumkum Bhagya should be minimal.

5) Do not quote more than 3 times. Discuss only about Vin/ Purab. Reference of other actors and characters can be made based on the situations.

Yay thank you! Loving Vin as Purab! So many things I didn't know about him, like his debut show (which I watched back then), his Indonesian work, and his lovely wife!
