The actor, who has bagged a meaty role in 'Saat Phere', will also be seen doing a jig in 'Boogie Woogie'
Actor Sachin Sharma, who had to contend with two of his shows 'Kulvaddhu' and 'Vaidehi' being abruptly pulled off air, is all set to resurface with 'Saat Phere' (Zee).
Sachin will be seen as the debonair Dev in the soap, which has the dusky actor Rajshri Thakur playing Saloni.
Wasn't it a career setback when both of his serials were prematurely axed? "It's sheer destiny when sometimes serials fail to merit high TRPs. As I was committed to those serials, I did miss out on some worthwhile offers," he answers. However, Sachin adds, "But I have no regrets ever since I have bagged a good role in 'Saat Phere'. I play a corporate don, who is in total command of the executives. He knows how to control by remote. It has shades of Amitabh Bachchan's role in 'Trishul'."
Sachin is glad to be working with good friend Keerti Kelkar in the show. "Keerti and I share a terrific onscreen chemistry. We were previously cast together in 'Sinndoor' (Zee), where I played the obsessive lover," says Sachin.
Interestingly, Sachin is a good dancer. "Dancing has always been a passion though I have not acquired formal training." He shares further, "It was memorable when judge and choreographer Ganesh Acharya appreciated me doing a Govinda dance ( 'Bhaagam Bhaag') on the show 'Boogie Woogie' (Sony)," he says of the episode that will be aired shortly.
Director Pammi Somal's upcoming movie 'Mummyji', co-starring Kirron Kher and Jackie Shroff, will have two dance numbers filmed on Sachin.
