Hi Angels. Welcome to this forum. I understand your concern and believe you me, this is the concern for majority of members here as we have been following this show since Day 1. When it started it was a lovely story of an immensely positive girl who is ready to cross all boundaries in search of her father. The story started and connected with the audiences on a deep emotional level to such an extent that people like me actually cried as and when kulfi was in pain and actually fumed whenever Amayra showed her wicked self. (I do cry even now) First 6 months showed her struggle to reach her father and desire to find him one day. The problem started when she actually discovered who her father is. Since that day the story turned bitter and bitter and went from worse to worst. In between, Tevar's introduction came like a cool breeze and spread great positivity but with his exit, Lovely and Amayra crossed all limits of humanity and Sikka condoning all their acts either willingly or unwillingly led these two characters turn witches and you very well said Amayra truly replicates Samara - the evil child with no emotions.. whatsoever !!

Even i wonder how even after getting such negative comments not only on this forum but also on Insta and other social portals still this show is in top 10. However i feel the reason behind this is - earlier we watched this show because of our love for kulfi and now we watch this show because of our hatred for Amayra and Lovely. We watch, we curse, use cuss words, boil our blood, vent out our anger on public platforms but all this ultimately results in higher TRPs and the fact that come what may - people are watching this show. And my personal reason which i feel would be the reason for majority of viewers is that people are head over heels in love with kulfi and cannot bear the thought of leaving her alone in the hands of these two witches. So whatever it is, we love seeing kulfi's positiveness and liveliness and the way she always pushes herself beyond limit and turns out to be the only saviour of this otherwise pathetically deranged family.

To conclude, despite showing the upper hand of negative forces, people still have a little hope of victory of good over evil and so is the prowess of Kulfi's positiveness, that viewers are still glued to this show !!

I've actually always wondered how on earth such horrifically torturous scenes are explained to child actors and enacted by them? Like, how do these children perceive these scenes and the things they are made to do? It still shocks me till this date how in naamkarann the child actress was not only made to be so exposed to such a foul and vile word like illegitimate time and time again, but also enact a scene where her evil grandmother shoots her in the chest. A 10-11 year old little girl for goodness sake! I detest such evil being exposed to young children in the name of acting. It's why I stopped watching naamkarann (only started re-watching and became a fan after the generation leap) and avoid watching this show.

After watching amyra character

I feel tapasya character was much much better than amyra. At least tapasya has some emotions she has some standard . Atl least she has become bad to get his own father love but here amyra forcefully and fighting for another father

I watch bcos i like Aakriti, she is so bubbly and Sikander actor and her have some good chemistry as father - daughter. I lost my father so i revel in their scenes remembering my childhood memories with my father. Also Lovely actor and Amyra actor does some good acting except i agree that she is being given or giving some really extreme expressions which are not needed to show how jealous u r. She creeps me out!

1. Akriti's screen presence or charisma

2. Akriti - Mohit's mindblowing chemistry as father - daughter

These child actors are precocious.

Thanks dear for taking my post in a positive manner. As I ve repeated many time my intention is not to hurt the fans or attack this show. When I googled this show the initial story line was really nice. A young, cheerful girl searching for her father. It was heart warming & the actress has natural charm. However looks like the writers ve now deviated hugely from the original light, sentimental plot & made it more cruel, hateful & abusive to a small child. As u mentioned I think fans who are loyal to the show & the actors r trying 2 stick with the show but the flip side is the makers will think that the current story line is fetching TRPs & hence will continue to show the same horror. The message from good, true, rational fans like u & others in this forum is not reaching the makers of the show. I think only something drastic like boycotting the show till they stop this cruelty will make the writers realize their mistake & correct the writing.

There are better ways of showing jealousy, possessiveness by children rather than such extreme scenes. Tamil movies like Anjali, Pasanga 1 revolve around these themes. There was also a beautiful tamil movie Kannadi Pookal which was a remake of a Malayalam movie. The boy kills his half brother out of jealousy. They would ve handled such a sensitive topic in a beautiful manner. Wish the makers watch the original Malayalam movie & take notes 😭
