I agree with you !! The other girl in the show is more natural and real! They chose the wrong girl for a lead one. She may be small, but, there are many young child artists like her, who act with grace and very naturally...

If you've seen Mere Sai, on SonyTv, there is a child artist named Laxmi in the show. She's fabulous !!! Looks super real too, for a lead role !! Even her would have been a great choice!

This child artist isn't a natural actress.. :/

Agree that sometimes her dialogues are not audible mainly when she's crying then again may be she smiles a lot which makes her look fake...

I understand where you all are coming from and respect your views. These days in the plot there is a lot of self-talk that little Kulfi has to do, and here is where primarily the problem is, and it is here she appears to mumble.

That being said, I think we need to give the child star a break. She is displaying complex emotions of being in an alien place without anyone to call her own, where she has undergone a gender change, where she is constantly bullied, abused, and now exploited for her singing voice. In between this, she is spontaneous, childlike and has moments of hope and even joy. Even adult actors, under such circumstances, would find it a challenge to switch genders and between complex emotions quickly.

To her credit, little Akriti is doing well. I think she will grow as she gets more experience with playing Kulfi. Let us applaud and support her budding talent as we enjoy the show.

We all understand all that ! However, at the end of the day she is one of the main cast of the show, and at the end of the day, she is a presenter ! Granted she is a child still and it maybe challenging for her to do complex scenes and emotions and display them being so young! But, that doesn't excuse her acting capabilities and horning of her skills. When she is crying and talking, or expressing pain through her words, she sounds so extremely shrill.. her voice becomes squeaky and annoying and does not make the viewer feel connected or emphatic towards her. It's hard for the ears to hear her, and is a real turn off. She maybe going through many setbacks but.. when it comes to portraying in emotions or acting the part, she tends to overdo it ! Like someone on here says, showing happiness and excitement is one thing, but, how she throws it out, it makes it appear fake and overdone ! She works with both her expressions and her voice, but isn't able to learn the right balance to mix it together in the right way. She is a lead actor and in a way, she is leading the show therefore, she would have to step up and it's the responsibility of the director's, her trainers and producers to make sure she is doing her part correctly! The girl playing Amyra, she is also of the same age! She is doing a fabulous job!! With her voice modulation, expression and attitude !! It looks so real !! If she can do it, why not the chosen lead be taught?

She has room to improve but, she seems too young for this role, and not mature in acting, for a child artist.. :/

I didn't notice her initially but after she became a sardar and came to ssg house , she is doing really well..Both the child artiste are doing an excellent job , and they have a tough task because they are literally carrying the show on their shoulders along with sikandar and lovely(who are doing an equally commendable job) ..

I just dropped in to say that kulfi kumar bajewala is going great and I hope it stays that way..Kulfi did an excellent job in every scene , like when she knew amyra used her voice, and she. Was cheerful the next day. and her scene with sikandar where she sang with him..It was wow..Very touching ..I was moved to tears ..All credit goes to the awesome actors and storytelling..
