Kudkudiya House No.43 is a hilarious comedy-chat show with a riotous Gujarati family of four. It's a down to earth, middle class family from Rajkot - which has arrived in Mumbai for the sake of their son's "Filmi" ambitions... The family otherwise is in the business of making and selling yummy Gujrati 'farsan'... and have shifted their "Kudkudiya Farsan Shop" to the front of their new house in Ville parle...

The family consists of father – Bhanushankar Kudkudiya a 50+ bore. Bhanubhai is a chauvinistic fanatic. His world is his Farsan shop & his son is his property. This is what his son Hitesh detests about him. Hitesh has aspirations to become a film star someday and the family shifted to Mumbai to fan his ambitions. But his family is greatly interfering in his personal life which is why even the measely roles he managed to get in small time films went naught. Hitesh's only rescue is his dadi Dayaben, who at her ripe old age is still very young at heart and manages to keep abreast of all the happenings in tinsel town, which again is diametrically opposite to her daughter-in-law who is boring and innocent to the height of stupidity and is not aware of anything apart from her house and kitchen. Since Hitesh didn't succeed too well in the film industry, dadi suggested that they start a chat show in their backyard – this way Hitesh can nurse his deep rooted ambition and with celebrities walking in to the house every week, one day, someone will ask Hitesh for a dream role, for sure!!!!

So here comes Kudkudiya House no. 43 - with its very talented cast - which promises to make you roll with laughter and in addition add spice to humour with the celeb chat.....

A bouncy old lady, crazy & endearing, she is an encyclopedia in herself. She is self educated, well read, funny & charming. Dressing up is her fetish and making conversation is her staple hobby. Rebellions, rambunctious & rude, Dayaben is unstoppable.

She is a foodie, a spendthrift & quite adventurous. But she is a nosey gossipmonger who loves to go into the intimate details of other people's personal matters.

Bhanushankar Kudkudiya

A 50+ bore Bhanushankar is a chauvinistic fanatic. Two deadly & quiet common features in many men. His world is his sweet & savory shop & his son is his property. Bhanushankar is a rigid, pleasantly patriarchal disciplinarian. He is an innovative man & managed to develop his business very well. He treats his wife like a servant & firmly believes that Men are Men & Women are dispensable.

Actually he is an unfortunate man who has never understood experienced or enjoyed love. Hence factors like companionship, romance, sharing, and conversation have never made much sense to him. He doesn't smile much & laughs rarely. There is an air of inferiority around him, which he tries to camouflage by behaving confidently. But he is unable to make direct eye contact.

Hitesh Kudkudiya

A 30+ young at heart ambitious bachelor. Hitesh is a great Indian paradox. Street smart but dumb. intelligent but lost, rational yet impulsive. He is a tribute to the split-brain theory. He likes to sing but other people hate the same. He doesn't sing badly but the choice of his songs is terrible.He is a vegetarian but wants to try eating eggs.

He is not very religious & therefore quite sane. And his redemptions come clearly from the fact that inspite of his fabulous superiority complex he lets people be. He takes people for what they are without judging them & that is why he regularly gets taken for a nice ride. Thankfully this facet of his personality helps him handle his guests quite nicely. If he gets taken for a ride then how does he handle his guests?
