Its the choice of one to wear what kind of dress he or she is comfortable in...

Sign of modernity.. ?/ Well... sign of modernity comes from thinking.,.,. modern thoughts,,good behaviour,, n opinions... 😳

Not at all.

Modernity stands for goodness for others, applying moral values, same as were applied traditionally. But, modernity gives more advance advantage to shed the torture on helpless, and simplifying the traditions to use and create a World, where every one is given equal values and liberty. And that liberty stands for will to work, will to study, and will to wear!

Short dresses can never change a mindset, they can only change the attitude of others towards the person, and sometimes even resulting in torture!

I too agree with you both...but somehow i find people equating these two things and in doing so they end up forgetting our cultural values and principles...which im totally against😳

Being modern means to have a broader outlook towards life where you have the brains and an open mind to decide what is right and what is wrong...to question age old blind beliefs that are harmful for the society...to come forward to help the needy and not indulge in anything thats harmful for you n others😊

Humein kuch nai chahiye... bahu beti ban ke rahegi..

first festival.. hamare yahan aisa hota hai.. ISKE liye ye n uske liye wo ... keh dena parents ko... bas rituals hain beta.. ( chahe iss sab mein parents ki pockets khali ho jayen n wo khud wo festival na mana payen )

some times later... ye nai aya.,,, wo nai aya,,,

humne kabhi kuch nai manga... per tere mayke walon ko toh hamari izzat rakhni chahiye thi..

n bla bla bla... 😡

my parents rarely asked from my bhabhi n wife's parents anything.. n told them in advance..

Plzz no dowry,,, once your daughter will be in our home.. she will b our responsibiilty.. n do come at festivals.. but with wishes n blessings,,, not with ... other things.. as they dont matter to us...

N I AM PROUD OF MY PARENTS.. N US BEING WELL BROUGHT UP... THAT MY WIFE N BHABHI ARE INTEGRAL PARTS OF OUR LIVES... 😃

So true Bhaiya...I respect your parents to be like this😃👏⭐️

But I have been through similar experiences as you mentioned in many cases...you know what i mean... and i hate that😡

When such things become a burden for the girls family...they never realise😳

Dowry must not be given or taken. Am against it, and am so lucky to have a family who understands a girl's parents' feelings, with heart and mind, and soul!❤️ 🤗

There must be a grand punishment when the dowry is asked. The law must be very strict, so that no parents shud feel bad over the birth of a girl child.
