Siddhant and Pari got married with their families' permissions and Ashu and Nidhi were happy and emotional at the same time that day. They had to be ...just like any parents would be...but they were happy and proud of their daughter for following her heart and finding a suitable life partner for herself...who gave her respect and equal say in every decision of their life. The moment when she left after their marriage was a difficult time for everyone...every one present there had tears in their eyes.
Three years passed and both of them spent each day happily and their love and understanding grew with each passing day. Now after a long wait they were finally getting the happiness in their life that they were waiting for...Pari was expecting and both of them along with Ashutosh and Nidhi were waiting eagerly for the arrival of the newborn. All of them were happy for Siddhant and Pari and he too was taking extremely good care of her.
As the time for her delivery was approaching, everyone was extra cautious for her and Siddhant especially made sure that he was there with her as much as possible. But one day he got a mail that he was invited to US to give a lecture...the presentation that he had sent many months back was extremely liked by the entire faculty there and now they wanted him to come there and give a lecture to the students himself. This was a moment of extreme pride for the entire family and he was really happy...but as soon as he saw Pari...his face lost all the happiness. How could he leave Pari alone in this situation...he thought. Pari also became upset when this realization came to her but Ashu tried to handle everything maturely. He told Siddhant that Pari would stay with them at their home till he comes back and and that they would take good care of her.
This way he would be able to go for his lecture and Pari would be taken care of too...he was reluctant initially but when Pari insisted...he had to agree as he knew both her parents would never be careless when its about their daughter. Few days later he left for US...he was not happy to leave her at this time but Pari told him that it is a big achievement for him and he should make full use of this oppurtunity... he left with a heavy heart and Pari came to her parents home...Nidhi was very careful with her as she remembered her own days when DB was with her for two months before her delivery. Pari was very choosy in her eating habits and more so during her pregnancy but Nidhi made sure she gave her whatever was the best for her and her baby.
Siddhant was in regular touch with her and her parents and he kept himself updated with her health status while he was away and Pari never felt as if she was away from him. But as its said ...destiny plays its game with everyone and so here too it did. One night suddenly Pari woke up Nidhi and she was shocked to see her bleeding profusely. She immediately informed Ashu who called up her obstetrician and she asked them to bring her to the hospital immediately. They wasted no time in taking her to the hospital where she was admitted...on examination and evaluation her obstetrician told them that Pari would be needed an urgent caesarean section as her bleeding is not coming under control.
Ashu told her to go ahead with whatever is the best for her...they were asked about her husband to which they told about him going to US for an urgent presentation and that they were there to take any decision for their daughter. The doc knew Dr Ashutosh and so she agreed to what he said but she told them that there is a high risk involved in the surgery and the life of the baby and Nidhi both are at risk. She might have to take a decision where she can save only one of them. Both Ashu and Nidhi were shocked to hear this and tears came into their eyes.
If it was about any other patient both of them would have decided to save the mother in preference to her baby but here it was about their own daughter...their Pari and her happiness ...which she had got after 3 years of wait. How do they take a decision ...especially when Siddhant is not there...both of them had no clue. Ashu tried calling him but as he was about to come back today as per his schedule ...his phone was unreachable...probably he was in his flight ...he thought. Nidhi was crying and her tears were making him weaker. The obstetrician asked them to make a decision soon as any time wasted was increasing the risk to Pari's life.
Ashu was in his dilemma when Siddhant's sister came to the hospital on hearing the news...she too came to know about the situation and immediately she gave her decision...isme sochna kya hai...zaahir si baat hai ki Maa aur bachhe mein bachhe ki jaan bachna zyada zaroori hai...yeh mere bhai ka bachha hai aur aap to jaante hi hain ki use yeh khushi kitne saalon baad mili hai...uski pehli shaadi ke baad bhi... Khair chhodiye...hum uske bare mein kyun baat Karen...hume aaj ki baat karni chahiye ...aap abhi jaiye aur doctor ko bol dijiye ki wo bachhe ki jaan bachayen she said. Ashu became furious to hear this and he shouted at her...kaisi baat kar rahi ho tum...dekhiye yeh bachha humari beti ka bhi hai...aur tum ne kitni aasani se keh diya ki use aise hi hum... tumhe sharm aani chahiye aisi baat karne ke liye... Agar yeh sab tumhare saath hua hota to... Aur ky Siddhant bhi yehi chahta agar wo yahan hota to? he asked her.
She told him that he too would have wanted the same if he was here as he knew her brother very well...Nidhi spoke up instantly...iska matlab tum apne bhai ko jaanti hi nahi . Nidhi went upto Ashu and told him that they should ask the doc to try and save both but if its about saving one...the mother should be given priority as Siddhant too would have wanted the same. His sister became angry on hearing this but Ashu strictly told her that Siddhant had handed over the entire responsibility of Pari to them and they had complete right to decide what is the best for her...she can't come after so many years to make decisions for her when she is not her responsibility. He went and talked to the doc and gave his consent for the surgery.
Pari was taken to the OT and both Ashu along with Siddhant's sister were waiting outside. They were asked to arrange for blood as she was bleeding heavily and her blood group wasn't available in their blood bank...Ashu donated his blood as he shared the same blood group with his daughter. Some time later while Pari was being operated...Siddhant called him up to ask about Pari on landing at the airport and he was shocked to know about her. He immediately rushed to the hospital and by the time he reached there...the doc came out of the OT and told them that luckily both Pari and the baby were fine. She had become unstable for some time during the surgery but thankfully later she stabilized...may be its was the result of everyones prayers and blessings.
Nidhi had been praying for her since the time she was taken to the OT and their prayers were answered and today both their daughter and her baby were fine. The nurse brought the baby out of the OT for them to see and it was a baby girl...Siddhant first took her in his arms and Nidhi helped him with that as he was very anxious to hold such a little one for the first time...later both Ashu and Nidhi took her and both were so happy and tears of joy didn't seem to stop that time...such was the feeling when they saw her for the first time ...no words can be enough to express that. Few minutes later the nurse took the baby inside and Nidhi told Ashu that she wanted to go to the temple to express her gratitude to the Almighty for giving them this happiness and he happily allowed her.
Pari was shifted to the recovery room and they waited for her to be back to her consciousness completely before they could meet her. Siddhant met his sister too and Ashu told him what had happened. He asked him what would have been his decision in this situation and as expected...he would have done the same thing that Ashu did in that testing time...no one was above Pari for him and he couldn't ever think of going away from her in any situation. His sister went back after some time and here Ashu was proud of his daughter's choice. Soon Nidhi was back from the temple with Prasad for everyone and Ashu had arranged for sweets for the entire hospital staff.
Everyone was very happy today as both Siddhant and Pari began a new phase in their life and Ashu and Nidhi were happy to see their daughters happiness.

Got emotional at times... 😃Loved to see how Ashni took care of their daughter,, n the decision taken after Sid's sis took the opposite one..Loved to see that Ashu confronted n took the right decision.. n did not bother what wud Sid can say if something else..Loved to see even Sid wanted the same thing that Ashni told to the doc.. to save the mother over the child... ⭐️👏best part... Ashu n Nidhi taking their grand daughter in their hands.. just like they did to Pari.. so emotional n very very beautiful scene ever for a family... !⭐️Very nice n beautiful one... loved the entire story so far,, n the last moments took me to a wonderland., where the right meaning of love stands.. !Thanks for giving us such a beautiful story of Ashni's another life,,, in their daughter..Cant thank you more... cos words are getting too short.. 😳Bless you n your pen that pen down such fab writes.. 👏Keep writing... this makes a writer more energetic n satisfied..God bless...
