Aman went back to his hotel and was thinking about Nidhi...since the time they met...he always found her quiet and introvert. But the pics in the hospital that he saw in the Dean's office suggested something else. Dr Ashutosh still keeps those pics in his drawer and in his room as well...that means he still loves her deeply...he thought. But why didn't Nidhi share anything with him despite him asking repeatedly...this question was troubling him and he wanted the answers to his questions immediately. But he knew he had to be patient and not do anything in a hurry ...this might increase their problems instead of solving them. He tried to sleep that night but sleep was away from him as her melancholy face flashed in front of his eyes as soon as he closed them and he needed someone to be with him that time. But unfortunately he had no one by his side and he was just tossing and turning in bed trying to find peace.

Some time later around 11 pm he received a call from Namita...Hi Aman are you ok...jis tarah tum wahan se gaye the...mujhe tumhari fikr ho rahi thi... she asked him. He told her that he is not able to come to terms with the reality and his life seems to have come to a standstill since the time he has come to know about the truth. He had started to dream of a beautiful life and a future with Nidhi and here he comes to know that she loves someone else...and she herself didn't tell him anything and he came to know this from her. Namita asked him to be strong as that's the most important thing for him at present... only then he would be able to help them. She also asked him about any further plan that would make Nidhi confess everything to him and how could she help him in that. But he himself had no clue presently and he told her that he needed some time to decide. "Aman you seem to be really upset...you need to have a good sleep first she told him. His eyes were moist thinking about Nidhi and words didn't seem to come to him.

He somehow tried to compose himself and told her that he isn't able to sleep and how he is seeing her as soon as he closes his eyes. She asked him to stop thinking about Nidhi for sometime and rather think about people and things that bring happiness to him...who are very close to his heart...his parents...best friends...his hobbies...his work...as that is his passion... He would be able to sleep if he stops thinking about Nidhi for some time. He promised her that he would try it out and he thanked her for her help to him in this situation. She disconnected the call after this and he tried to follow her advise. Soon the wise advice for him worked and sleep took over... But how long would he be able to manage himself like this...Namita was worried for him.

The next morning Nidhi woke up early...went to the temple to pray for Nidhi (J) as she was to be operated today. She knew today is a big day for her, Aarti and Dr Ashutosh as he is very close to her emotionally and nothing can be more difficult for a doc than to operate on their close ones. She prayed for all of them and then went to the hospital...she wanted to be with Aarti in this difficult time. as soon as she reached there, she found Aarti with Nidhi (J)... She was very happy to meet her before her surgery. Aarti thanked her for coming and soon Dr Ashutosh came to inform them that she needs to be shifted to the OT. He asked Nidhi (J) whether she was scared...she told him that she wasn't scared at all because her doctor Uncle was with her...her Mom had told her that he would bring her back surely. He was surprised to see her strength and the faith they both had in him...he told her that instead he is scared today. She being a small child was amused to know her strong Doctor Uncle could be scared of anything ever but Aarti understood what he meant to say. " Koi baat nahi Doctor Uncle...jab aapko darr lage na to aap mera haath pakad lena...mujhe biklul darr nahi lagta...main bahut strong hu Mumma kehti hain... She said.

Soon the nurse came to take her inside the OT and Dr Ashutosh looked at Aarti... Aap chinta mat kijiye... Mujhe aap par poora bharosa hai...aap Nidhi ko kuchh nahi hone denge... she said. He nodded his head in agreement and he looked towards Nidhi. Her eyes suggested to him the same belief that others had in him and he went out after promising to himself that he won't let his emotions overpower him today. Inside the OT the anaesthetist asked Nidhi about her favourite people and she told him that her Mom and her Doctor Uncle were her most favourite and she wanted her Doctor Uncle to be with her. The anaesthetist called Dr Ashutosh and he stood there looking at the little one while she went into unconsciousness under the effect of the drugs. Soon the surgery started and Dr Ashutosh made sure that he was at his best when it was about operating on her.

But midway during the surgery the anaesthetist informed him that the patient's BP was dropping because of the blood loss and he tried hard to control the loss...but there was a moment that he felt he wont be able to stop the blood loss and wont be able to save her. The anaesthetist were trying to maintain the BP with blood products and he remembered her words... jab aapko darr lage na to aap mera haath pakad lena...mujhe biklul darr nahi lagta... He immediately held her hand and that small touch instilled a new confidence and self belief in him and he started the procedure again. There Nidhi and Aarti were waiting outside the OT and Aman had also come there to be with Nidhi. The activity going on with the staff and the need for blood transfusion suggested to them that there was something adverse going on inside the OT...both Nidhi and Aman understood that...as this was not new to them.

Aarti was getting more and more anxious and Nidhi was trying to console her... soon they were asked to arrange for more blood and Aman offered to donate blood in order to help them. Although Aarti didn't want him to do so...but when he insisted she had to agree. He went to the blood bank and donated blood and there Dr Ashutosh was struggling with the vascular tumour and soon he managed to take a control on the bleeding vessels and the bleeding stopped. The anaesthetist informed him about the stabilizing condition of the patient and he completed the surgery successfully. After the surgery he felt relieved as he was able to save her life...otheriwse he wouldn't have been able to forgive himself ever. Nidhi was shifted to the ICU and he went outside and informed everyone that the surgery was successful.

Aarti was so thankful to him and went and sat close to Nidhi (J) in the ICU so that when she opens her eyes...her daughter sees her first. Soon she regained her consciousness and saw her mother who had tears in her eyes. "aap ro kyun rahi ho Mumma...she asked and Aarti told her that she is crying out of happiness that she is back to her. Nidhi asked about her Doctor Uncle and he soon came to meet her. " aapko darr to nahi laga ? she asked him to which he replied...haan laga to tha...lekin fir maine aapka haath pakda aur mera saara darr bhaag gaya... she smiled to him and he felt so relieved to see her smiling. She told him that she is feeling sleepy and he asked her to sleep and that he would soon take her back home from the hospital.

After this he went outside and asked Nidhi and Aman to go back as everything was fine now. Aman was constantly observing their silent conversations...he understood that both of them were worried for each other and now that Nidhi (J) was fine...he asked her to go back. Aman offered to drop her home and on their way Nidhi thanked him for helping in saving the life of Nidhi. He told her that she never needs to thank him for anything as soon they are going to be life partners. After pausing for while...kya aapko nahi lagta ki husband wife ke beech mein koi bhi baat chhupi hui nahi honi chahiye? he asked her. Nidhi was startled for while with this question and she looked at him confused as there was only one thing that she was hiding from him. Aap aisa kyun pooch rahe hain? she asked him trying to divert the topic... nahi bas aise hi...kuchh khaas baat nahi...maine to generally poocha tha...kyun maine kuchh galat kaha kya? he questioned her back to which she signaled to him that whatever he was saying was right but inside her heart she was thinking that she knew she was hising an important truth from him but she had no other choice but to do so...hope he would forgive her if ever he came to know the truth. But she'll do everything possible to keep this a secret as this was her Baba's wish.

There Aman was making a plan so that she herself tells him the truth...soon they arrived at her home and she asked him to come inside. He went with her and met CV and DB...both of them were very happy to meet him. He told them about the successful surgery of Nidhi(J) and praised Dr Ashutosh for being the best neurosurgeon he ever came across. CV didn't say anything in reply...instead he changed the topic of conversation by asking Aman about his parents and others in the family. But his observant eyes could make out that CV particularly didn't appreciate Dr Ashutosh while he ahd saved his own life as well. He understood that there is definitely some hindrance from his side in Ashutosh and Nidhi's relationship...he decided to find out the entire truth from Nidhi herself very soon.
