CV went back home and when he reached home...he found Nidhi waiting for him.

He hided his worries from her but she understood that he was really upset but she couldn't make out what was troubling him inside. There Ashu went to meet the person who had called him up when he was talking to CV. She was none other than Nidhi(J)'s mother who had called him because her landlord had thrown them out of the house at such an odd time of the day as she had not been able to pay the house rent for many months. Ashu asked her to come with him to his house...she was reluctant initially but as she had no other option she agreed but on a condition that she would go as soon as she is able to arrange an alternative option. He agreed to this and brought her home. While they reached his home, Nidhi(J) had fallen asleep...So he lifted her in his arms and asked her mother Aarti to come inside. As he opened the door and entered inside...he saw the hesitance on her face...
Ashu: andar aaiye...samjho yeh aapke bhai ka ghar hai... Bhai ke ghar aane mein kaisi jhijhak?
She had a slight smile on her face and she entered inside. Ashu made Nidhi(J) sleep comfortably on the bed in his room and covered her with the blanket. Her mother saw Nidhi's pics all over in his room...on the side table, on the wall. She recognized immediately that she is the one whom she had met in the hospital...
Aarti: yeh to... (signaling towards Nidhi's pics)
He didn't say anything and came out of the room. He offered to arrange for dinner but Aarti told him that she would prepare dinner for both of them...he showed her the kitchen and soon both of them had dinner together. After that he told her to rest along with her daughter and that he would sleep in the other room. Although Aarti wasn't comfortable with this idea but when he insisted...she had to agree. While he was about to go to the other room...
Aarti: aapne mujhe apni behen kaha hai... kya apni behen ko nahi batayenge... Wo jinki photos aapke kamre mein har jagah lagi hain... zaroor wo aapke dil ke bahut kareeb hain...lekin hospital mein to wo aapke saath bahut normally baat kar rahi thi... par haan kabhi kabhi maine unki aankhon mein kuchh sawaal dekhe the...jo main us samay nahi samajh payi thi... lekin aaj main janna chahungi... Kya hai aisa jo aap dono duniya se chhupa rahe hain...
Ashu: hum kuchh chhupa nahi rahe... Hum bas kisi se kiya hua vaada poora kar rahe hain...
Aarti: main kuchh samjhi nahi...
He told her about their relationship and how for CV's sake both of them are separate from each other and how she has changed so much in these few months. Aarti became emotional to know all this but she really couldn't do anything to help him. She just wished everything gets sorted out soon and they both can be together for the entire lifetime. But Ashu told her that its not possible as CV would never agree to this and Nidhi won't do anything against his wish. Aarti praised both of them for their determination and the strength of their love which is still there despite them being so far away from each other. Ashu told her not to worry about her daughter now as he would take her entire responsibility ... she would be soon operated and after that would get the best of education and that's his promise to her.
Aarti didn't want to be a burden on him and she wanted to search for some job for herself. He told her that they would think about it the next day and now she should take rest as it was already very late. She agreed to this and both of them went to their rooms. There Nidhi tried to ask her father again about the reason behind his worries but he didn't tell her anything.
Nidhi: aap meri wajah se pareshan hain? Aap chita mat kariye...jaise aap chahenge waisa hi hoga...
CV: tu sach keh rahi hai... jaisa main kahunga tu waisa hi karegi?
Nidhi: wohi to kar rahi hu Baba... hai na...aap bataiye kya chahte hain aap mujhse?
CV: tu bahar se to wo sab kar rahi hai par...
Nidhi: par kya Baba...saaf saaf kahiye...
CV: tu unhe bhool nahi sakte... Kya tu mujhe meri beti wapas de sakti hai... Bol... kya mujhe wohi Nidhi wapas milegi jo zindagi ka har pal hans kar jiya karti thi?
Nidhi was surprised to hear this for few seconds...she had no answer to this question. She reconciled herself and smiled to her father and just got up...
Nidhi: abhi aap ko aaram ki zaroorat hai... Aap aaram kijiye...
She said this and kissed his forehead and left the room...CV understood her reply without her speaking even a word. He knew she wouldn't do so and this was killing him from inside. How desperately he wanted to see her smiling and back to her own self... He didn't know which way to choose? what could make her happy? He knew the answer to this but he himself wasn't ready for that knowing how the society would react to this relationship. He lied on his bed and tried to sleep as he had no answers to his questions yet and he too left everything on to destiny to sort out.
The next day was a Sunday and Nidhi (J) woke up and was surprised to find herself at a new place. She then recollected the last evening when they were waiting and her Doctor Uncle had come to take them. Although she didn't understand that time what was the matter...why were they asked to leave their home but she had immense trust on her Doctor Uncle. She was very happy when he had come there. She started crying finding no one there and she didn't know which place she was at that time. Aarti heard her cries and came inside...she took her in her arms and she felt relieved.
Nidhi (J): Mumma hum kahan hain? Doctor Uncle kahan hain?
Aarti: beta hum unke ghar pe hi hain... wo hi hume yahan laye the...
Nidhi (J): ab hum yahin rahenge Mumma?
Aarti: nahi bas kuchh din tak...jab tak hum apne liye naya ghar nahi dhoond lete...chalo abhi bahar chalkar Doctor Uncle ko Good morning wish karo...
She too was surprised to see Nidhi's pics there and happily told her mom..Mumma yeh to unhi Didi ki pictures hain jo hospital mein meri friend ban gayi thi...haina Mumma aarti told her that they were Nidhi's pics only and that she was Doctor Uncle's friend too...that's why these pics were there. Both of them went outside where Ashu was sitting and she was very happy to meet him. Both of them shared a bond which was very difficult to express in words...he felt so happy in her company and forgot everything when he saw her smiling.
Nidhi(J): Doctor Uncle aaj aapko hospital jaana hai?
Ashu: nahi beta aaj humari chhutti hai...agar koi emergency aayi to jaana pad sakta hai...warna aaj hum poore din apni gudiya ke saath hain...
Nidhi (J): aap hume amusement park lekar challenge?
Aarti: nahi Nidhi...hum kahin nahi jayenge... tumhari tabiyat theek nahi hai na... aur waise bhi Doctor Uncle ko tang mat karo...
Nidhi(J): Doctor Uncle Mumma ko bolo na... aap mere saath ho to mujhe kuchh nahi hoga... please...mera bahut mann hai... Papa lekar jaate the...par jab se wo God ke paas chale gaye to mujhe koi nahi lekar jaata... (and she became sad remembering her father).
Ashu: arey to isme kya ho gaya... Hum lekar jaynge aap ko...aaj hum teeno ghoomne challenge...theek hai... ab khush...
Nidhi (J0: bahut khush...(she said happily and hugged him in happiness)
Ashu: lekin ek problem hai... Mujhe rides pe baithne mein bahut darr lagta hai...
Nidhi (J) started laughing and was so amused to know that her strong Doctor Unclewas scared of rides... Both Ashu and Aarti were relieved to see the little princess smiling... they all had breakfast and then went to the amusement park. Nidhi (J) was very happy there...Ashu allowed to her to take all the rides suitable for her age and they had lunch there only... but Aarti was somewhere worried inside her heart for her daughter's future...her upcoming surgery...how would she manage everything all alone now that her husband was no more...and how long could she depend on Dr Ashutosh? She thought of talking to him in the evening as she needed to find some solution to this very soon. While coming back home Ashu brought painting colours and drawing books for her as she was very fond of painting.
While she was painting whatever came to her young mind... Aarti expressed her concern to Dr Ashutosh...
Ashu: aap bilkul chinta mat karo... maine aap ko behen kaha hai... aap jitney din chahe yahan reh sakti hain... Nidhi to meri beti jaisi hai...itne thode time mein anokha rishta jud gaya hai iske saath... yeh khush hoti hai to lagta hai ki jaise saara jahan khush hai...
Aarti: lekin aise kab tak? mujhe jaldi koi job dhoondni hai... aap please meri majboori samjhiye... mujhe job dhoondkar ek ghar rent par lena hai... main aap par zyada din bojh nahi banna chahti...
Ashu: Behne bhai par bojh nahi hua karti...lekin fir bhi agar aap chahti hain to ... (after thinking for few seconds)...aap mere hospital mein job kar sakti hain... main bahut time se soch raha tha ki kisi ko hospital mein administrative supervisor ke post par appoint karun?... aap se better kaun ho sakta hai? Jab tak Nidhi surgery ke baad school jaana shuru nahi karti...tab tak aap ghar par rehkar hi kaam samajh kar saari files ko inspect kar sakti hain... uske baad aap hospital aa sakti hain... boliye...karengi?
Aarti happily agreed to this and she asked him to look for a rented house too for her...but he told her that till the time her daughter is operated...she shall stay there only as she might need his supervision. Aarti couldn't say no to this as she knew that no one else could look after Nidhi (J0 better than him. At the same time she was so thankful to him for helping them out in this difficult time.
