Ashu was missing Nidhi terribly...its been only few hours since she left for the health camp in Alinagar village organised by their hospital. He too wanted to go along with her but his prior appointments didn't allow him to go along with her for one whole week. It was time to go home but he didn't feel like going home as he very well knew there's no one at home who would be desperately waiting for him to be back. Everyday she used to be the one who waited for him and she used to run to the door to welcome him. He himself didn't understand how could someone get so close to his heart while he had closed the doors to his heart forever and turned himself into a hardstone doc. But she was different...really different from everybody else...she gained a place in his life and his heart which no one else could ever get. Now he could not imagine a day without her... how would he stay away from her for a week...thats what he kept thinking when the peon came and told him that he had to close the office and it was time. He half heartedly got up to go home and while going home he arranged for his dinner as well as now he had to manage everything on his own.
On the other side Nidhi was experiencing the same thing. She had come as the incharge of the medical team for the camp but she was too missing Ashu...her love...her life. She was worried for him as she knew he must be feeling too lonely...how would he have his meals, whether he would have it on time or not...who would wake him up in the morning? It was long time since they both stayed away from each other and that too for so long. All these thoughts kept crowding her mind. All of them reached Alinagar and their stay was arranged in a small guest house in the village. She passed her night in his thoughts while he too went through a similar experience and both of them communicated with each other through the moon as if the moon was the messenger between the two lovers.
Next day the entire team was busy arranging for the camp and Nidhi was busy supervising all the arrangements. Slowly the number of people coming for medical check ups started increasing. Nidhi was happy to be a part of the camp as she felt relieved to provide free check up to so many poor people in the village. Just then she heard the chaos from a place in the camp. She went to see what was happening there and the reason for the noise. She saw a hefty built man arguing with a junior doctor as he wanted him to reveal the sex of the unborn child to his pregnant wife. Nidhi was shocked to see this happening. She saw the lady was very weak and scared and the man was very arrogant and dominating.
Nidhi: kya baat hai bhai sahab?
Man: kuchh nahi madam...maine inse kaha ki yeh check karke batayein ki meri patni ko jo bacha hone wala hai wo ladka hai ya ladki? Bas itni si baat hai...
Nidhi: bhai sahab hum yeh kisi ko nahi bata sakte...yeh illegal hai...mera matlab hai yeh gair kanooni hai...
Man: kanoon mujhe mat sikhao madam...yahan ka kanoon hum hi banate hain... aap jaanti nahi hain main kaun hu?
Nidhi: dekhiye aap jo koi bhi hain... Par yeh hum aapko nahi bata sakte...agar aapne zabardasti ki to main police bulaaungi...aapko saza ho jayegi...
Man: mujhe police ki dhamki mat do madam...yahan ki police meri jeb mein rehti hai...main yahan ke zamindaar ka beta hu...isne 4 saal mein 4 ladkiyan di hain mujhe...ab agar ladki hui to main ise jaan se maar dunga...
Nidhi: yeh aap kaisi baatein kar rahe hain...ladka ya kadki hona in par nahi aap par nirbhar karta hai... aap inhe kyun jaan se maarenge...aur waise bhi aaj kal ladka aur ladki mein koi farak nahi hai... 5 bachhe...aapko kuchh sochna chahiye...zara inki haalat to dekhiye... kitni kamzor hain... kuchh ho gaya inhe to aapki bachhiyon ka kya hoga?
Man: lecture dene ki koi zaroorat nahi hai Madam...aap hume bas chupchap se bata dijiye jo humne poocha aur hum yahan se chale jayenge...warna...
Nidhi: warna kya? Kya karenge aap? Hum yahan Government ki permission se camp ke liye aaye hain... rukiye main abhi police bulati hu...
She called the nearby police station and the Inspector came there in some time...till then the camp services were suspended. Nidhi took the Inspector to her tent and told her whatever happened here. He told her that this man was very powerful there and even the police wasn't able to do anything against them as they had approach to the higher officials of the government. That's why they were not able to do anything against them. He advised her to do a normal check up of his wife and that you didn't have the sonography machines that's why you cant reveal the sex of the fetus. Nidhi refused to lie to him and she told that man that she won't reveal the sex of the baby at any cost...only thing she could do was a check up for her. That man refused to get her check up and took her away...Nidhi saw the emptiness in that lady's eyes as she was being taken away.
Nidhi felt so disheartened to see the sad state of villages even today...how she wished she could do something for her...but unfortunately that lady was bound to her husband and had to face all his cruelties silently. At night while she was sleeping in her guest house when she heard a knock at the door. She was surprised as she wasn't expecting anyone at this time in the night. She went and opened the door and was shocked to see that lady who had come to the clinic during the day time.
Nidhi: tum yahan...is waqt...kya baat hai?
Lady: madam ji mujhe bacha lijiye...wo mujhe maar denge...main jaise taise apni jaan bachake wahan se bhaag aayi...unhe kisi baba ne bata diya ki is baar bhi mujhe ladki hogi...isliye wo sab meri jaan ke peeche pade hain...wo mujhe maar denge...
Nidhi: tum chinta mat karo...kuchh nahi hoga tumhe...main hu na...kuchh nahi hone dungi...tum ghabrao nahi...
She made her sit down and gave her water and some food...she hesitantly had them and then she made her rest...she was worried knowing about the criminal background of her family and that no one could do anything till now because of their political connections. Nidhi called up Ashu and told him everything...he was shocked and worried for Nidhi and that lady...he told Nidhi that he would be coming there by next morning...till then he asked her to make a video of that lady's truth by her and send it to him...he'll post that video on social media so that they could put pressure on the authorities. This way they will have to take action against that family. That lady whose name was Gudiya was scared initially but on Nidhi's insistence and promise that she would be safe along with her daughters and her baby, she managed to record that video and send it to Ashu. Ashu posted that video on all social media sites and himself left for Alinagar village along with the senior pokice officials who were very close friends to him.
Soon that video was viral on all sites and Gudiya's husband too saw that video through one of his associates. They came to know that Gudiya had recorded the video and undoubtedly they knew that she must have gone to Nidhi only for help as she was the one who was strongly opposing their act. Nidhi was busy in the camp and that man came there with his men there and they all started breaking and destroying everything there. They had searched for both of them in her room but they didn't find Gudiya there so they came to the camp (actually Ashu had advised her to send Gudiya to her relatives place in the nearby village where she would be safe). They all asked Nidhi about Gudiya's whereabouts but Nidhi denied having any information about her. They continued with their destruction while the nearby villagers stood there watching all this scene and none of them had the courage to help them.
Nidhi tried to stop them but they pushed her down to the floor and continued with their acts of violence. Nidhi was praying to God that Ashu reaches there on time and helps them. Soon Ashu reached there with the police officials and many media personnel too reached there because of the video that was made viral by then. That man was arrested along with his men and Ashu took Nidhi in his embrace. He was happy that he could reach there on time and help Nidhi...otherwise anything could have happened to her...he knew she was a girl of principles and she wouldn't have ever bowed down in front of those criminals...but he was worried for her security. The media covered the entire scenario and soon Gudiya was too brought there by her relatives after Ashutosh had asked them to bring her there (Nidhi had given Ashu's number to Gudiya while she was leaving from there).
Finally everything was sorted out and the criminals were arrested and strict action was ordered for the police officials who failed to do their duty properly. Ashu stayed there in the village only and they both carried out the health camp together successfully and they felt very happy after organising such a camp. While they were leaving from there, all the villagers showered their blessings and small small gifts to them for relieving them of the torture that zamindaar was doing to all of them. While going back in their car, Ashu remarked...
Ashu: aakhir tumne mujhe yahan bula hi liya...
Nidhi: maine ...nahi to...maine kahan bulaya?
Ashu: achha ...nahi bulaya... Theek hai...koi baat nahi...agli baar nahi aaunga help karne ke liye...
Nidhi: theek hai mat aana...mujhe kuchh ho gaya to ...
Ashu placed his hand on her mouth and said " tumhe kuchh ho jaye aisa din main kabhi nahi aane dunga... Main humesha tumhare saath rahunga...aur tumhe bachane ke liye aata rahunga...samjhi...
Both of them hugged each other and re- iterated there promise of being there for each other forever.
